6 weeks of flower - Have I stunted my poor babies? (pics)

I have been watching Blynx's thread (I know, apples and oranges).

His plants at 6 weeks of flower look incredible and mine look like fatter versions of what they looked like at 4 weeks.

I've had several problems with the grow.

Insects are under control - Gone for 3 weeks or so. I had a minor infestation of what I think were gnats of some sort, perhaps fungus gnats.

Soil ph was very very low for many weeks. I think I finally got it up to 6.5. It's been very hard to maintain soil ph because I reduced my nitrogen in the potting soil and added sulpher to bring the ph back down, but as I used fish emulsion to feed, it went very low. Potentially in the 5.0 range. I can not be sure. I've added a lot of dolomite garden lime (1-2 tbs at a time) and I think I finally have runoff in the 6.5 range. I am not using fish emulsion anymore because of this.

Also, my nutrients were lower ph than I wanted because I was using soda ash to reduce the pH... soda ash separates from the nutrients and because it was submersion feeding ala drbud, I didn't notice. I think the ph of the nutrients was low as well as causing a salt buildup which potentially locked out nutrients (along with the pH problem.)

Because of all of this, as you can see, my buds are not very large. Some of the lower buds have hairs that have turned a burnt color (almost orange). The leaves up top are just begining to turn frosty and the hairs are turning orange there as well.

The stems coming off of the plants (only some of them) are a dark red color. I've read that this is a nutrient deficiency, and I've had red stems since they were put into flower... Should I do anything to rectify this situation? I've been considering a week of flushing and lime, then a good dose of a low N, high P-K.

Currently, I'm feeding with (per gallon):
1 Tbs of GH maxibloom
1 Tbs of Seaweed extract
2 drops of Super thrive
1 dropper of Shultz 10-15-10 (which is very little, only because it has micro nutrients)

Then I ph down to 6.5 w/ GH ph down... no more soda ash.

Any input is very appreciated. I'm starting to get a little scared! :(

This is the bud on the far left of picture #1. Notice the hairs are still huge compared to the bud.

What do you think? Are there any steps I should take to improve my yield?

Your plants look great. The red stems can be genetic or a lack of N or K....IME it is usually K. Think about growing organically next time...you won't have to fuck with pH...and since you are growing in soil it just makes sense. You will end up with a healthier, higher quality product.

Your plants look nice and healthy man,I was expecting worse when I clicked this thread lol..you wanna see small buds go look at my thread haha.

The red stems CAN mean a deficiency, usualy potassium...sometimes phosphoruos.Either way,by the looks of the leaves,Id say its nothing serious at all.

About the flush for a week,I say NO..they NEED nutrients at this point, flushing for a week straighth will only do more harm than good..maybe a nice, heavy soil LEACHING for ~2 days.

This is literally a flush, pour as much ph'ed water nito the pot. Also, lay off the nitrogen, your leaves look a bit TOO dark for my tastes..
