So, I have plans for a cooltube setup I wanted to vent with speed controllable pc fans, but now it looks like I'm going to have to use 6" fans and I'm not sure what the equivlent is. The setup I wanted to use would be two 200+ cfm Delta server fans, powered by a PC Power supply (I haven't made sure that this will provide enough amps however), and speed controlled using one of those front panel PC fan speed controllers, preferably one that would let me save presets like "all fans off", "all fans 25%", "all fans 100%", etc.
Is there a 6" equivlent to this kind of system? I see 6" AC Axial fans everywhere but I have no idea if they can be speed controlled or not.
The idea is for a stealth setup, so fans like the S&P 100 would be too loud.
