6 LandBasedRaces?

Afghani, Hash-plant, Humboldt, NL, Skunk, Nepali, That covers some darker resin based starters Can anyone correct/and/or add or comment to the actual genetically based LBR's There's tons of hybrids but going back a few decade of research what is listed in text books as the founding base of known landlocked genetically markers as New branch of the evolutionary ladder of distinct variable's in genetic markers. Just thought I'd ask for higher level of understanding and not someone's guess at strain orgin's

One of the hardest challengers of late, has been trying to go back in time to get a handful of these foreign exotic stains(phenos).
Red Rider is trying that just now with his Columbian strains, and I've been searching for my Acapulco Gold ...like forever, even tho many seed banks offer acceptable imitations, many of us want the real or almost REAL thing!
...and thats just the problem, we are so accustomed to our 15-25% THC in our weed, that often many of the classical strains weren't that strong in the first place, but made up for the medium levels of THC by offering un great taste and or flavor instead

I'm torn between the classic strains of yesteryear and the super potent THC levels we get today, there must be some compromise ...?

"Afghani" describes a wide range of cultivars, from the lowlands to the highlands and they can be short and squat to tall and stretchy.

"Hash Plant" isn't a single cultivar and varies by region. There were many Afghani, Pakistani, Iranian, Indian and Moroccan wide leaf varieties, as well as Lebanese, Turkish and Indian narrow leaf varieties, as well as hybrids where these varieties overlapped.

"NL" was used to describe a number of different cultivars, some of which were clone only and were crossed to other strains for the purpose of making seeds.

Skunk is a stabilized 3 way hybrid

Humboldt is a county in Cali and cannabis is not a native species.
