6" Cool Tube?

I am planning a 400w hps grow in a c25. I live in a hot area of the US. I must vent my c25 into the room that it sits in. I used the 400w for about six months in a c22 and had nearly had heat issues. I used a 4" bake-a-round at that time. I am looking for something similiar, but six inches around. I also would like to purchase this rather discretely because of recent purchases of questionable nature. No hydro online hydro places, unless super stealth delivery. I have a 6" elicient inline, around 450 cfm. Obviously the cheaper the better. Where can i get one of these things, i've seen them around just haven't been able to find a thread dedicated to a 6".

Hurricane glass I think is 5" and the 6" I beleive have to be bought at a hydro stor or online at ebay.

You can find the 6" cooltube reflectors for about $75-$150 US.

Just checked out ebay (didn't want to go that route because they are nark bastards), a little over $100 for shipping and all. What a freaking rip-off. Hopefully we can find a solution and cut out the greedy middleman. I'm gonna be checking around town to see if i can find something similiar.

Check your local hardware store for Coleman or other camping lanturn replacement cylinders.
Might find one that'll meet your needs.

Search ALL my threads right now.

I have a C25, 400w and a 6" cooltube.

My ducting is REAL convoluted and TIGHT in there.

(it still works fine though)

But if I could do it all again, I would go 6" tubing on the interior and just reduce to 4" for the exit.

Did you go louvre for passive intake?

Read up - unfortunately by build thread died with OG.

Oh, but to actually answer the question (I got all excited by the first sentence and blew my above psot out)

Mine was $99 at a local hydro store. (included hooks, tubes, socket and wiring -- no ballast (i had to chop mine and wire it up))

Thanks for the info guys. Jumblyjoe i am infact going to order the darkroom vents. I am thinking of ordering four of the 8" squares. Two for the c25 and two more for my NGB style 150w box. I just relocated the NGB box into another room which has higher temps so i'm going to need to get a bigger fan (4"inline) and increase airflow to keep temps around 85. Any recommendations on a 4 inch fan would be helpful.

Vortex,Eco-Plus,Can Fan or elicient but the first three would be the best choices IMO.

The Eco Plus inline centrifugals are the cheapest that I know of.The 4" 170cfm model runs for about $140 and the 6" 440cfm model runs for about $180 U.S. and they push exactly what they say (tested with vortex, can fan, hurricane and Eco Plus) but they do use a bit more power than the Can-Fan/Vortex lines but not much and still the cheapest centrifugal.

I'd say Either a 4" Eco Plus or 4" Vortex.
