Hydroponic reservoirs should work like this:
Day 1: Mix nutrients as directed.
Day 2 -6: Add water to maintain level and pH balance.
Day 7: Rinse the reservoir and make a new batch of nutrients.
Every room is a little different but unless you're running a DTW NFT system just keep your pH balanced and you'll be fine.
An intellidose, Mini Dose, Dosetronic, or the like could automate this process for you a little bit but you'll want to dilute the products you add because they are better designed for 100 gallon and larger reservoirs.
