50w DIY LED pc case grow

Hello everyone.
I built a pc grow case ages ago and ended up dropping my old cfl light on my case, breaking the bulb as well as the pc case LOL. Lesson to be learnt: Dont drop heavy equipment onto hollowed out pc cases (and dont buy cheap pc cases to make into cabs- they'll fall apart even before they become a trampoline for your grow light! Anyway, I started fresh:

Chieftec Dragon pc case
50w DIY LED grow light
DIY carbon filter with 120mm fan
Coco/ perlite 60:40
Growth technology grow/bloom
Seed: C99 (popped only one seed as a kind of trial run)

This is my first grow so advice and tips are always welcome

Heres a few pics if anyone is interested. Any questions feel free to ask.

Hollowed out case with heatsink mounted using obnoxious bolt things (i need to change)

Heres the 50w DIY LED panel I built using osram goldendragon plus reds/cool whites/blues. I power them with 2 meanwell 500mA drivers I mounted in a psu case i adapted and I now have a 60mm delta fan blowing on them.

Pics don't work. And good luck, I'm running 2 50w LED PC cases right now. I've bought over a dozen delta fans in my experiments and I have to say I think they're 60mmx38mm fans are too loud for any semblance of a "stealth" PC grow. From my testing I have found a 60mm fan made by sunon (search ebay for PMD1206PMB1) and the 92mm & 80mm versions of the vantec tornado are the best mixture of low noise and power.

thanks, I'll be sure to check out your grows and take notes :p I too have experimented with a few fans. The 120mm sunon pictured was originally bought for my carbon filter, it was just too loud however- even underpowered at 5v! I was told the 92mm delta in the pic was quiet too, they must have been puling my leg; its the loudest of them all! I've ended up using another 60mm delta i picked up on ebay, i actually believe its faulty as the air its moving is minimal but I'm using it anyway (its quiet) :/
Im now using a coolermaster sickle flow fan and I am pleasantly surprised with the air one is sucking through my carbon filter.
The pics should be working now.

Quick update- ive installed a 120mm fan to cool the heatsink, currently just suspended using laces. Ive had the led array ~ 3 inches from my plant on half power (when all the leds were switched on temps had risen to about 31 degrees at soil level). Now ive decided to have the leds about 6-7 inches from the plant and have both arrays switched on and temps are at a stable 28 dgrees at soil level.

The plant is at day 6 from poking her head up from the soil.

Thanks bro, im looking through your thread now, devouring as much info as possible! The seed is from female seeds I believe- the first seed ive ever popped!

This is my first grow so any and all advice is welcome from everyone and anyone :)
