50 days 12/12, still not flowering, why???

Hi guys!
i can't understand why my Superl Lemon Haze, after 50 days at 12/12 is still not showing flowering, while the two other plants ( 2 northern light ) i have in my box 60x60x140, are about to finish flowering after the same period. I know sativa strains take longer than indica, but i wasn't expecting so much longer.
i just wonder, is that normal??? or what should i do??
thank you :9

most people will say light leak, but i always say potassium def 1st. is it strectching way more than the others and has weak stems? then my diagnosis is correct but you should check for both. a quick acting solution to fix potassium def is burnt dryed banana peels mixed into their water, ur gunna wanna burn many peels because it turns tonot much ash, the old growth will never regain and it takes 5 days or 2 waterings to see the difference.

try 10/14 photo period. 50 days and no flowers a all? equatorial sat still thinks it summer. Did it have 3x stretch or more on light change? be aware she will blow up and at over 50 days of veg she's going to get big.

thanks guys
i give you some more informations about my set up, and growing conditions.
Plants are under a 250w CFL Agro, temperature in the grow box is now about 28° (day)
and 20° (night), umidity about 40% (day) 60% (night).
With the Super Lemon Haze i started 12/12 from seed, did some Lst, and cut away some leaves, even recently... it could be because of that?? because of the stress??

I don't think it's a light leak, because the 2 Northern light are flowering without any trouble.
Potassium def?? the plant looks quite good, not stretching, and no weak stems. I'm watering twice a week, once a week using Biocanna flores and Biocanna booster and they should provide the plant enough potassium... i guess.
I'll try 10/14 photo period and see what happens.

So you are counting 50 days from the seed popping out of the ground? That is your problem.

The plant has to be sexually mature before it will start to flower. Six weeks is an average time for a hybrid, but a sativa leaning hybrid should take longer, more like 8 weeks. So what you have is a plant that is 50 days old and it may not be sexually mature until it is 60 days. If I am correct you have another 10 days to go before it should show signs of sex. After that you are looking at another 12 weeks to finish.

Well if you started at 12/12 and your 50 days in I would imagine that you are right on track. The plant will not flower until it is sexually mature as you cannot shock it into flowering with a light cycle change. Especially being a sativa leaning hybrid it is going to take a little extra time.

standard practice 12/12 from seed on indoor grows with haze dom strain.

you can wait it out if your NL is under the same lamp. change from 12/12 may hurt your yield. If it was me I would let the NL finish. after, still no flowers go 10/14.

Good luck

I'm not sure on your particular issue, but I will say that just because some plants are flowering doesn't mean you don't have a leak. I've heard that a bright red light coming off of a power strip could interrupt flowering. Meaning, a light could be on one side and not hitting the other plants.

Just sayin.. good luck!

I would say you got a very Sativa leaning Phenotype. Extreme Sativas will veg on 12-14 hours light. They prefer closer to 11 hours light to bud . I just finished a Nepali Sativa at 112 days(11/13). It never really budded until day 45.I also have a couple Thais at about day 40 of bud with nothing but a few preflowers. Just be patient, long plants can pack a great heady buzz once they finally finish!

this is just my take . I would lean more towards throwing nanners from light leak. If it was big enough to keep it from budding completely seems as it would stress the NL.

10/14 bud set after couple weeks can go to 11/13 but it may never finish just keep throwing new bud. keep it as a perpetual harvest.

How big is she anyway? No preflowers? Hmmmm?? should be fun. once you figure it out we all will know.

thanks guys!
OK, i'll wait for a few more days, if she doesn't show signs of flowering when i'll cut the 2 Northern light, i'll switch the photo period to 10/14.
Ciao :)

How is the Super Lemon Haze doing? Starting to swell up? Hopefully it's going well. I love those Sativas. Good luck anyway.

Hang in there ! I run super silver haze and trust me when I say that to get this plant to finish its cycles takes TIME. I have 22 of them going and I'm just getting into finishing weeks of flower. I started late january. This is normal. Its completely worth the weight on these types of plants. Good luck.
