No expert here, OgOrganics. I would check the fan. Shaking somewhat points to that. You can get a replacement fan at WW Grainger for just about anything. The cost would be tiny compared to replacing the unit. Should be fairly easy to swap out. Good luck. -granger
Did you notice any change in the air temp it was putting out? The reason I ask is if the compressor goes the unit can over heat causing things like the fan to melt and become of center causing the unit to shake. If you can see the fan you can easily tell if it's the problem. If not it will most likely be the compressor and yes that can be replaced.
