5 gal bucket rollers with pvc fittings!

so guys i am doing a vert grow with 6 plants around each 600w bulb. i am convinced that many plant vertical is too hard for me as my yield looks like it will be less than what i had hoped for.

so i am doing 6 plants with 1.5month-2month veg in 5 gal buckets of coco.

i found this product online and it seems to fit the project quite well. i would be able to tend each plant very easily in this manner.

it just costs a bunch who else has fitted vertical screens to 5gal buckets? any ideas?

Tomato cages work well in 5 gal buckets for support......What type feed system are you looking at.....DTW ?.....Hand watering ?....To rotate the plants around the bulb I`d suppose they`d haveta be hand watered......

well i was planning on making the plant flat along a screen of some sort and then having 8 of them around 2 stacked 600w bulbs.

Easy dude. Make a circular cage out of pvc pipe and elbows. 1/2" or 1" pvc.

Won't cost much either. Zip tie some netting around it and presto.

Those buckets are sweet the price is not too bad if they roll really good. decent swivel wheels cost like 3 bucks a pop if you want to rig your own deal up.

If you are creative just walk around home depot and lowes and u can make all sorts of stuff to suite your needs. Oh yeah habor frieght is good place for cheap furniture dollys

Do they need to be that far from the bulb?

The pvc netting is exactly what I was talking about

Will you train the branches through the netting and cut off the back growth for flower?

They are still vegging and are 18 inches from the bulb. I have already been trimming the back side and waiting for em to get a lil taller and recover from the pruning before I flip em. I will train them and let em grow threw the mesh during week 2 of the flip. So most of the stretching is done.

One thing I noticed was on a lot of grows that had better GPW was the plants were farther back give more square footage. For example. 12"s from light with 36"tall screens gives you 19 square feet. 18"s from light and 36" tall screen gives you 28 square feet.

Heath's flooded tube was 24"s to the tubes.

Im thinking about doing this in a 4x4 tent. I've been drawing designs and I think I can make a cube out of pvc and leave myself enough space to move around. It would be 27" per side... Think that is big enough with a 600w bulb or should I go a little bigger on my cube?
