The world’s largest banner ad for a Dubai real estate company is also one of the most viral. The five acre ad for Sorough Real Estate made it to the Guinness Book of Records,

We all know how to find real estate where we want it IF we are IN the market and can afford to do so. If it were for something of value to most, it would not be a waste... like a RP giant sign would not be a waste.

They arent wasting money and there is a good reason why they ae doing it. Dubai is in the UAE ( United Arab Emerites) and is an oil producing nation. However Dubai will run out of oil and cease production in 2015. realizing that no more oil equals no more money, they are putting their money into tourism trying to get rich people to buy real estate there and making man made islands to buy or com visit. Right now their economy is based on oil, after 2015 it will be based off tourism. So its not a waste at all.
