4x8 tent vs. two 4x4 tents

I'm upgrading and already have a 4x4 tent in the room, but want to add another 4x4.

My question is, should I buy a 4x8 an pack away the 4x4 or just buy another 4x4...

It's obviously more cash up front to get the 4x8... But it could be easier and cheaper down the road... But having two separate 4x4 has its advantages too....

I'm un sure which way to go and I do t have much cash right now... Hmmm prolly should have just got the 4x8 right off the bat but u know how that goes

I'm guessing that if you ran a 4x8 you would use just one carbon filter and one inline fan. Unless you rig two 4x4 together with air duct you would probably end up needing two carbon filters and two inline fans, plus an intake fan for each if your running an active intake setup.

So depending on all the that, the 4x8 would most likely make the most sense economically, but having two 4x4's means you would have one for flower and one for veg or a breeding chamber, or an isolation chamber for new clones, etc..

If you got a 4x8 right now you could use the 4x4 as mother veg clone chamber and rock two 1000 watt lights in the 4x8 getting twice the amount of tree 3+ pounds each run with babies vegged and ready to go right after harvest no downtime.Or on another note you could run three 600 watt lights in the 4x8 tent and increase yield even more,all kinds of scenarios think for the long haul if money permits because down the line you will have bought 2 or three tents and one day you will say why I just didn't do it at first hope my babble helped.

I would be connecting the duct from each 4x4.so only one fan still but ya I would need two filters... Plus the 4x4s would be on the same timer so it's the same room with a divider basically.

My main concern is spending the extra cash for another tent and packing one away... I guess I could sell it... Would it be sketchy selling a grow tent on Craigslist ?

Ye thanks dude ur babble did help... Right now I have a 3x3 for veg and a 4x4 for flower and a 2x2 for babies clones and a 1x1 for drying...

So ya I've done my fair share of upgrading my tent size an I always find a use for the old one down the line but I do t see myself using the spare 4x4 once I get the 4x8...

I guess it comes down to extra filter and extra fans and temp gauges ...

I'm really kicking myself for not just doing the 4x8 right off the bat but I had to grow into the room so to speak

A learning curve I did it.I was just able to help family or friends when they wanted to start growing i was there with a tent for them that's how I got rid of all my extra gear.

Ya I suppose growing has a learning curve an out growing spaces comes with the territory

Thanks for the help, I think I should just drop in and get the 4x8 it will be much nicer and easier to work with rather than 2 separate tents in a room with multi tents in it as it is
