4X4 Tent: 2 600's to much?

So i'll be setting up again real soon, but i'm at yet another bump in the road. My set-up, then question.

4'x 4'x 7' (54x54x84) Sun hut
1 600/400 Switchable Dig Ballast ( i use 400mh for veg, and 600hps for flower)
1 char-filter
2 vortex 450+( but only use 1 atm)
1 Sunblaster 6in Blockbuster Refl.

Plans for next run:
Same gear, but in addition i would like to add another hood/light. My question is would: (2) Sunblaster 6in Blockbuster Refl and 600/400 Switchable Dig Ballast be to much for the tent?
I have 2 fans already so my thoughts are to side-by-side the hoods, duct together, going through 1 vortex. Char filter using other vortex.?
Or use only 1 vortex, ducting in succession?
Would it create too much heat? (for 1 450 fan)
Would the added lights benefits (if any), justify added costs, maintenance, etc.?
Pros/cons?
Any and all input would be appreciated.

in my opinion i would think 1x600 would be fine in a tent that size, by doubling your light in that size tent you wont double your yield g/pw

Wouldn't think ya need 2 600s even stacked.
If ya have em and have a itch... Scratch it I'd say..lol

get a second tent and run 2 tents and stagger the harvest.





i run 2 600's in a 4x4 and have for over 2 yrs but im moving them into a 5x5 so i have a bit more room.

i need to run an A/C in the room my tent is in 9mo out of the year b/c of the tropical climate and at times i cut a 600 if temps get over 85 F.

you could run stacked 600's in a vert configuration..........there are a few who do this just browse the growing vert forum.

Check out (Flipbox) Great for a 2 tent run... One ballast runs 2 lights and flips the light from tent to tent..

As long as you keep the temps in check.....
I like the vert bare bulb idea also....... 2 rooms.... staggerd harvest....

i got one 600w in a 4x4x7 and im dealing with high temps in the day if what your doing is trying to maxime your light in this space your off better getting a light rail your one 600 will cover the tent very nicely from side to side and get great results

1x1000w would have been the max i use a 600 in that area with good results

Good advice Alien ,i tryed stacked sixes in a 4x4 tent couldnt cool it or get humidity past 30 .one six in a 4 x 4 is hard to cool, but
if u go bare bulb, vert, easy to cool and grow some tall plants..Bud
