4x4 Table growers; how do you prop your tables up?

Custom made?
Milk crates?
Cinder blocks?
Store bought?

Show em up guys, I need some idea's for how to prop up these 4x4 trays. Since I'm doing 4, I was thinking some custom saw horse made of 2x4's or something. Would also be built to be broken down and stored away. Give me some inspiration guys, especially since I'm not no where near handy. =P

Saw horses for Home Depot work great

Cinder blocks work great but are abrasive as hell

Snapture stands are killer

"No Holes Bar" from Best Coast Growers is about the sturdiest one with a light bar mount, trellis netting and all the brackets...I like this one alot.

I use 5 gallon buckets turned upside down.

They are 14.25" tall

4 buckets/table, one at each corner.

Free if you are resourceful or 5 bucks at Lows or HD

I like them because they are cheap, light, easy to move and store, and give you storage space underneath.

I also use 5gal buckets upside down, I then lay 4" x 4" posts on top of them and the trays...sturdy as hell

sorry, this is the only pic I currently have...I'll take some tonight

I like the 5gal bucket idea, simple & cheap. What about sag in the middle of the table? You put a bucket there too?

that is why I use the 4x4 posts... absolutely no sag whatsoever, set them 8" in front and back perpendicular to the reinforced ridges on the trays. They do add 31/2" to the overall height of your table, if you cant spare that, then yes use more buckets to support the center

Texas Kid, those snapture ones are a good buy for the $$, the No holes Bar is pricey but really nice. I may look into the snapture some more. Thanks.

Ahh I see, I didnt exactly understand what you meant by 4x4 post, so you have that running from one bucket to the other. Right now I have 2x4's running PARALLEL to those ridges you speak of, maybe that contributes to the sag? Sounds good man. I like it. I'd like to see more pics if possible. I also like your drain setup, It's another great idea I could use as well. I run to waste so it would be nice to collect the waste from 4 tables into a central rez which I could dump weekly. Throw up some pics of that as well if you can =).

here are 8 - 2' x 4' tables being held up by 8 buckets and 4 4x4 post (about $50 total materials)

Better shots of plumbing

Each set of 4 tables ebbs and flows through the floor to 160 gallon reservoirs in the basement

I'll get you some better shots of the tables tonight

Pandemic

I don't need any support in the middle.

I am using thick black ABS tables from Canada.

I read about the sag question and went in and put almost all of my weight in the center of an open table and hardly any sag.

I have never checked for sag when late in flower and flooded.

I may be adding beams, novice here.

this is my setup

like I said above this is 8 2 x 4 tables but the concept is exactly the same. 4 buckets and 2 beams per 4' x 8' run...shorten or lengthen as needed :headbange

edit: there are several great ways to build a table...this way is merely the easiest

I like the look of the "No Holes Bar Pro" quite a bit.
I wonder how it seems in real life.
Does the cost justify the additional utility?
A sturdy place to hang one's light as opposed
to the "heavy-duty coat hanger" supplied by
the Hydro Hut people, would be nice.
