4k watt multi strain grow

's1st official post here! hello everyone

i've got 20 plants under 4k of mh atm. they'll be veg'n another week or two before i switch the bulbs out with hps. i'm hoping to add another 2k of hps....since i will definetly be running out of room here very quickly!

a brief outline for those who may be interested
strains - 8 p.o.w 33, 1 moby dick #2, 1 darkstar, 2 sssdh, 6 diesel, and 2 nypd

-garden is being fed AN's 2 part sensi w/ voodoo juice and foliar fed B-52
-will be flowering with sensi bloom along with AN's flowering additives.

All strains are infected with a form of mosiac virus. not sure which type, but i know for certain i've got it. i've fed asprin at 325 mg's per gal the last 4 feedings. amazingly there are now no signs of mv.

i'm scrappin everthing after this grow and cleaning out the rooms and takin a month off to make sure thie virus is COMPLETELY gone.

things are moving along nicely. supercropped the girls and fed flower nutes @ 1000 ppm. i should have waited till after the full moon to HST.....those stems were right full of water. Lesson learned!

picked up another 1000 ballast. now runnin 4k of mh and bare bulbin 1k of hps. thinkin of switching to 4k of hps and 2k of mh at start of week 3. still not sure about when to make the switch. i'm hoping to see less stretch running the mh's for the first few weeks.

any feedback is appreciated guys. I don't bite! Hopefully some people chime in once these ladies start packin on weight. until then i guess I'll be talking to myself in this log

i really hope you aren't experiencing mv. i would isolate that plant and watch it closely. even though asprin can nearly render the virus undetectable.....it can still be spread through out your garden by you touching the plant or insects landing on it. so be careful!

headed to the hydro store today. will be picking up another 1000 watt ballast so i can drop another vert bulb over the canopy.

can't wait to be givin these ladies 6k watts.

swapped out the mh bulbs with hps's. now runnin 4k hps and 2k mh. ordering a scrubber and may order a propane generator. not sure i'll have enough funds for both.

is it too late to be adding co2 @ nearly 4 weeks in? or would i be kickin myself for not doing it?

A lot of folks will suggest cutting off the co2 for the last couple weeks so you may just want to wait till the next round.

If you have to choose between co2 and a scrubber, definitely go for the scrubber first.

i usually raise them as they flower/ or lower the plants if you cant move the lights

i run co2 all the way till harvest with no ill efecti never heard the 2 week thing.i will say its rocks the girls in veg,it is a costly addition to the garden though.brsides the generator you also need a controller

grod31 - keepin the lights high to spread the love a little more. if i were to lower them i really should add another 2k w/ magnums and spread the plants out a bit more. their pretty cramped for space atm . I'm @ 41 watts per square ft right now.

man what a lazy day. the snow and wind kept me trapped inside......i needed a good excuse to sit on my ass and vape all day

the co2 burners cause aot of heat .if your not set up for that you may want to consider tanks for spring ,summer

Heyyy!! Yeahr, the weather sux outside! Anyway, I run a perpetual grow, and started using Co2 last spring. Didnt seem to hurt anything in the last couple weeks of flowering before the chop though. Not using it anymore, my a/c kept freezing up so I not running the a/c or Co2-for now. Happy toKin!
