might want to look at 6's in there... x3 on the short wall with the door, and x4 on the opposite long wall. if u have the set 1/2' off the wall for a liitle breathing room, that wouldgive u a 3' work aisle down the middle, along with the doorway to enter/work. only time i like 6's...space constraints

I updated the pic that I drew

there are 1000's over each table atm

I know the bend in the ducting is cutting down fan efficiency quite a bit

I have 2, 6'' inlines atm. one cooling the lights and scrubbing at the same time, like in the pic

and another 6'' hooked up to a pretty good size carbon filter just for scrubbing the smelly air as to not have any stink when you walk by outside

well also be putting in an 18,000 btu mini split next week probably

the window banger we have now just isn't really cutting it. although I think it would do fine if we could cool the lights more effectively

Can't remember where I got it from but I work to 4000 btu per 1K of light so that sounds perfect to me!

The above guideline is for regular lights not air cooled, your room is sealed right?

yes it is sealed

do you think the mini split will keep everything cool enough if the lights are left as is, even w/ the bend in the ducting?

farmdalefurr, Imvho I would get a 24k btu mini split. You're going to supplement co2 yeah?
If so, i would run the lights uncooled. A 24k btu is perfect for a room your size and wattage and gives you a wider range in btu's.
As far as brands, well if you've got the $$$ then a Mitsubishi is as good as it gets.
I just purchased this one for my newly finished 10 x 10 (x8) 4k uncooled flower room.

Fujitsu and Lg would be my next choices. Friedrich makes a diy 24k btu that doesn't require vacuuming of the line set. It's all click together and play.
In the dirty south here cooling your flower room is mandatory. Been running sealed with mini splits for 5 years now, and helped several growers install mini's. Trust me when I tell you that it pays to buy the best mini split you can afford.

do you have any shots of how you have your room setup?

if $ weren't a concern, I would get the best mini split money can buy. I would probably even go w/ a central air unit if it were up to me........ and not the "ball n' chain" hahaha

I appreciate your advice Puscifer

Sorry, I didn't document the build...It's nothing special, just a 10 x 10 with insulated walls and a mini split hung up on one wall and a dehuey on a shelf on the opposite wall.
Check out Third Coast's build, mine's similar to his.
Whatever min split you do buy, I highly recommend you get one that is an inverter and get a 24k btu.
