40k lumen high output t5

so theres nice usable space in the basement i'm going to use to do a small grow, probably 2 or 4 bubble buckets, or maybe just some nice organic soil..not sure yet..

anyways, because there is very little, practically no way to get good ventilation into this room i can't go with an hps like i would like, so i'm going for these high output t5s:

visit that link ^^ and if you scroll down there are sun blaze t5 sets, i'm getting the option with 4 orange/4 blue bulbs, they claim totally for 40,000 lumens! there 400 watt mh right below it only rates at 36k.

so i know i'll do awesome in vegging with one of these, but i'm curious about flowering. now i'm assuming not to have buds falling over bc they're so dense like with a nice hps, but am I going to end up with some scrawny ass buds or what? with a good scrog has anybody had nice success with flowering on t5s? have any pictures you want to post?

Ventilation does more than cool, it brings in fresh air and CO2 the plants need. Unless you're in a sealed room with pressurized CO2, you'll want some form of air exchange.

With low penetration, ScROG is the way to go. While I have colas in the 15-20 inch range, they're grown horizontally leaving my canopy only 6 inches tall (the height of individual buds)

Note the twist tie at 3 O'Clock? I had to let the cola up to take the shot.

also, yeah I know the intake is also needed for fresh air, but i have to work with what i have..i've had success making co2 containers using yeast, so I'm going to go with that and pump the sealed room up with some co2..

anybody else have full bud shots using soley t5s? I'd love some confidence booster!

so i ended up finding a ncie t5 deal at a local hydro shop, i ended up getting one set of 4 4' bulbs, and a set of 6 4' bulbs..they fix in the width of the room PERFECTLY. I'm almost afraid they're too tight up against the wall and won't allow enough ventilation.

i am also suprised with how hot these things get, not near an MH..but still enough heat to have to manage....

so update: this is now a 50,000 lumen grow!

i may start a grow journal once i actually start taking pictures, and get the mounting of the lights completely figured out...
