Well I am at it again and this time I am growing some different bagseed. All bagseed I have aquired comes from grade A quality dankness. This time around I am working with a purple strain and a fruity strain (all strains named after appearance/taste/smell).

Ok so I started out with three Purple seeds and four Fruit seeds. Two of the Purps sprouted and all four of the Fruits sprouted.I started the seedlings off in 8oz styrofoam cups until ready to be transplanted to 1 gallon plastic pots for the vegging stage.

A week before switching to 12/12 I transplanted from the 1 gallon plastic pots to three gallon plastic pots and I took clones and pruned all plants.I stuck my clones in a homemade bubble cloner that measures about 10" x 6" x 4" and placed that in a closet under two 2' dual 20w fluoro fixtures (that's 80w total).

Due to over crowding and not being able to fit more then 4 three gallon plastic pots in my C-13 I had to get rid of one of the fruits to a close friend. Also Purple #1 stays vegging to get as many cuts as I can, then she will be discarded and one or two clones will be kept as a mom.All plants have their clones and when this harvest is done I will smoke and judge which are the best of them (ie;purple #1-#2 and Fruit # 1-#3) and keep only those. Then clones will be taken of those clones and the first batch of clones (c1) will be placed into either 2 liter or 3 liter plastic bottles and grown SOG style with 10-16 plants total. The clones of the clones (C2) will be kept as mom(s) and grown bonsai style.

My method of growing is as follows...

Growspace : Mills Pride C-13

Lighting : A/C 400w HPS

Exhuast : 4" 178cfm EcoPlus inline centrifugal (set up to cool the light and exhuast the cab).

Intake : four 2" O.D. PVC pipes with 90 degree bends for light traps.

Ambient Temps : 70-75F

Temps in Cab : 74-78F

Growing Medium : Jungle Growth potting mix with 2 tblsp. of Dolomitic lime added to help buffer pH.

Nutrient/Fertilizers used : Fox Farms Grow Big,Fox Farms Tiger Bloom,Fox Farms Open Seasame,Fox Farms Beastie Bloomz,Fox Farms Cha-Ching.

pH of plain water is set to : 6.5-7.0

pH of nute solution : 6.5-7.0

Well I am down to three flowering plants now as two others just could not continue on as it was getting too overcrowded so I donated them to some very good people.

Plants left are Purple # 2 and Fruit # 1 & # 2.Fruit # 1 is starting to frost up and is going to give off some nice dense buds and it smells of red grapefruit.

Purple # 2 is growing sativa like...instead of colas there is a nug at each internode and the purple is flooding in and my temps don't even get below 75F.

Fruit # 2 is looking nice aswell, not as frosty or dense as # 1 but close.

I'll have some more pics up tomorrow.Right now they are 3 weeks int flowering and I will have pics of day 24/25 flower and then I'll get some pics of day 30 and after that I'll update weekly with pics.

nice grow so far. is that just water in the bubble cloner? How long did it take to root those little fellas?

Yes it's straight tap water in the bubble cloner......the first batch of cuts I took didn't root for almost a month and when they did root they were more then half dead so they were discarded.I think my problem was that I took them in veg and didn't give a feed of flowering ferts before hand (Nitrogen delays rooting....p-k or just p or k promotes root growth).

The second batch I took after a week of flowering and they rooted withing 5days toone week.

It is iportant to make sure little to no light gets into the bubble cloner as roots like a dark environment and your cuts WILL reoot faster in a dark environment.

And I only got 2oz. off this run...I think the cab is best setup with either 1-2 plant LST'd,super cropped,or SCROG'd.My run with two chrystal females landed me just over 4oz.
