What can you tell us about the differences you noticed in maintenance of the garden when using air-pots vs. using regular pots. Do you really notice any difference in the amount of growth or the quality of growth?

Hey man! I'm use the Roots Organics as well 'cept in 2-gal smartpots (made of felt) and a 400w CMH in a DR100L.
What kind of pH range did u use for this coco-mix? What was you feeding schedule like? Are you going to stay w/ this mix & airpots? Any other thoughts. BTW, awesome grow. The buds R looking look tasty.

Hey thundurkel, I am a new user but long time follower. I just want to say you are rocking that tent harder than anyone I have seen (my experience limited to two yrs). But either way you and greenbuds have helped me plenty and I thought I would drop some lines for ya lol. I use 150 hid and they do the trick, but I do have a four hundie that could be put to use...makes me think. Oh yeah if ya want more details I can let ya know with what i am bumpin. Oh yeah! I used yer bubble cloner design for a year and it worked well. I have now updated to a diy aero unit. 90% result rate! ye ye

Thanks man glad I could be of some help, that's cool the Bubble Cloner worked out for you for that long but I've had mine put away for quite a while now hahah. I feel bad for those that think that's what I've been using cuz I found a better and faster way to root my cuts IMO. I use the same Ziplock containers one for the bottom tray and the other on top upside down as a humidity dome. I use Root Riot Cubes and Dip n Grow along with the free pack of Clonex gel that comes with a tray of RR Cubes. I dip my cuts in the DnG for 7 seconds then give them a dip into Clonex and off to a cube they go. I fit 32 cubes into a container and my cuts are all 4-5" and the container sits on top of my Flower Chamber on my CFL cab so I think it's acting like a heating mat. Either way I get 99.8% success rate I say that cuz I've lost 2-3 out of all the times I've done it this way... Usually it's roots in 6-8 days but I go a full 10-12 and let the cube all grow into one another! It's also nice to do this way cuz you can just pick up your tray and look under it since it's clear and see if you have roots!
For all my coco mixes I keep a ph of 6.0 but only have a dropper ph test kit but it's what brought my garden back on track when I started having issues...
I was using Roots Organics Coco Fiber Mix when I wrote that but when time came to buy it for the tent grow it was all out. So I went with a company called Bio Juice and had their Bio Coco and it was REALLY nice. $16 for 2 cubic ft
Not sure if you got the bags that I ended up with from Roots but whatever I got wasn't what my bag was!! I head Roots fucked up a huge batch and put the outdoor soil mix which had some coco in it into those bags. Which seemed about right cuz I felt the shit took WAY too long to drain so I was glad I ended up with different shit for the tent grow. I also had a new hydro shop open up by my house walking distance and I'm a no car having muthafucka plus this spot is the sister store of where all my buddies go. With that said when time came to get a new bag of coco I went to the closer spot and they didn't have Roots or Bio Juice and only had Canna, Bio Bizz and Ready Gro Areation Formula and I want Moisture if I get RG. So I got a bag of Bio Bizz to use on my CFL cab and new clones ect but wanted a perlite mix and I hate mixing the shit myself in my apt bedroom haha. So since the Bio Bizz bag was getting low and I needed to transplant my new clones for my next HID grow into 18oz cups and went with Ready Gro Moisture Formula...
WOW!!!! is all I have to say about the Ready Gro Moisture Formula.. This stuff is SOOOOO nice! with 3/4" double sieved coco fiber, perlite, humic acid from leonardite ore and added mychorrizae fungi holly shit this is premium stuff for my ladies!!! Next round is gonna be double the yield if I have my way....
Also folks the 8 Thunder Goo's are still flowering 5 in air pots 3 in 6" square pots and are at 70days of flowering today and will post some new pics today...

Yea just do another one I didn't care too much for the one you chose outta the DC pics cuz there were better ones... I'll take pics of the plants when lights come on, probably gonna harvest today cuz it doesn't look like my girls are gonna fatten up anymore than they are. I'm not too happy with how the Thunder Goo came out and should've did all Double Purple Blowfish but you grow and learn...

hey thunder, your grow is stunning. those air pots seems awesome! im thinking about picking some up myself for my first, im just wondering. could you put soil instead of coco in the air pots? noob question but ive been looking everywhere most use coco. thanks for the help man! looking forward to see more shots.
