On topic of the 007 mix, Would any of you who have grown it suggest it for a good season out doors? i was thinking of getting one up and going just before winter ends. and take a few (all possible ) cuttings and spreading the love out doors in many different locations.
I've got 4 007 going outside, going to check on if theyre showing preflowers yet soon. I wouldent sugest the strain based on my not being able to get it to flower allong with others getting the same results.
Regarding 007 outdoors - based from what I have observed on the 4 females I am growing and from what I have seen of others grows, I do not recommend this strain for outdoor growing unless you are in a tropical region or have a greenhouse to extend the season. I think you will have considerable trouble getting these to flower outside in a timely fashion. I would say greenhouse would be perfect though.
I am here mate. Been a bit more busy lately - got a new full time job etc so I have a lot less spare time on my hands these days. Will do another update soon. Things are coming along well. I dont think I will keep any of the 007 phenos just because I have too many other awesome strains to work with and still no mother cab as of yet (soon to be built).
I'm loving the setup! I am still trying to figure out the best way to use 8 lights. I will have a 3k watt grow going really soon and I may try to use this HOG method: )
Watching this with a close eye...might try this on the next grow..working with a 430 Hortilux....curious to see how much will yield. Good job and it looks like its doing great!
thanks for the support everyone. I would love to see more people use this method and I am glad to be giving others ideas. The setup has a great potential for yield, however on my current run I dont expect to break any records so to speak. Mainly because of the strains I am working with I am not expecting a heavy harvest, but it looks like its gonna be good quality stuff.
Today I had to stealth everything - i.e. turn off the light, fans hide all the equipment etc. dismantle the ventilation system. This is because my land-lord organised for an anual white-ant inspection. So there is a pest dude coming and looking around my flat. My gf was worried about it but I did a good job to hide everything and I made sure to burn insence and toast and I put tissues soaked in basil oil in the room. I terll you what - that basil oil is awesome for covering up the smell. Still waiting for this pest dude to show up at the moment.
Ezra I hope to try and emulate your half pipe, I guess It would be kinda like a stadium with my partiuclar setup not being in a cab, oh well anyhow that's for the next grow and I wanted to say thanks for the inspiration.
You had a bug guy come and inspect? I had the same thing except when he came, he somewhat got away from me for a sec and went into what was then an almost complete growroom....he just laughed and said that he made his living the same way for 20 years!
All went well with the pest guy. He walked around for a while with a flashlight looking for signs of white-ants around the skirting boards and door frames. Of course he checked the spare bedroom where my cab is. He didnt suspect anything because I did a good stealth job, but at one point he looked at the cab which is solid timber (not particle board). He said something like "they get into cupboards like that all the time" and he tried to open it by pulling the handle. Of course the cab was locked, so it didnt open. I quickly came up with "Oh I only just put that in a couple of weeks ago, yea its only been here for a short while" He totally bought it and said "Ok yea you would have to be real unlucky if they managed to get into it" an he moved on. Anyway I chated to him for a while about the pest control business and such and asked him questions about termite breeding cycles etc. He was a good guy. lol
