mine wont bud either

mine wont bud either

but..... i gave a couple of the seeds to a new grower and he has actually flowered them and they are almost finished. his plants are not impressive at all but it was his absolute first grow, but the simple fact that he actually is almost finished is amazing to me since i have a couple of monster sized plants myself that doesnt seem to have one bud on them at all. Due to the fact that i have invested to much  time and electricity (MONEY) on these bastards i have decided to use some superbud that i have left from an experiment a while ago on them. Ezra i feel what u have been going through but if you are at all interested in the pics of my friends or my plants i will post them. he took pics during the whole grow process and i can take some pics of mine now.

hey 2cool2, yea looks like there are just a couple of us left now who are still growing this strain. I have seen a few grows on here, looks like I am the only one appart from your mate who has managed to get them to flower. Ronley just scrapped his 007 after 43 days in flower.

I am optimistic about mine as it looks like the couple of techniques I tried worked well and there is promising buddage well on its way.

Please dont use superbud man, dispose of it at an appropriate HAZCHEM facility. Feel free to post pics of your plants in this thread.

good luck

i really feel backed in the corner with the superbud (phosphoload) thing because I cant afford to have those 007's stretch anymore because I will have to raise my lights and affect the lumens my other plants are recieving. i am going to upload some pics (in this forum if u dont mind ez) of my 007 and my friends almost finished 007 so you can at least have something to look forward too it motivated me enough not to cut mine down. reddish colored buds and lime green leaves :yummy: i am not new to ic but i have never posted anything before, just like to sit back and watch and learn. I had a feeling this 007 thing was not going to be all it was cracked up to be from the get go. but like everyone sais they were freebies, and yes i do have other genetics going now as well.

2cool2... why dont you just raise your other plants up to the light if you have to raise the light. Just put some cinder blocks under the pots/buckets whatever. Ive had great sucess doint this with some of my plants. If your 007's are bushing out too much just tie them up so that they are more compact so your other plants can get more light. just a suggestion.

-ezra-... great grow by the way. Have been checking in periodically and have really enjoyed the show.

Am i the only one that feels gypsy should let us in on the gentics behind these beans. freebies are great and all but i think now is the time to clue us in on this before anymore ppl spend countless days and money on these beans. sure they are free but at what exspense, especially to new growers who feel they may have done something wrong.

Hi Ezra

Nice thread you have over here, the title really caught my attention. The Halfpipe is a very nifty idea, I once thought of running a similar setup with 600 watt lamps. Your live example looks very nice, the increase in canopy size is quite impressive! Things will get really interesting later in flowering so I will come back... :) with my popcorn.

take care and happy growing!

Looks great Ezra. That sure is a wide array of chemical and organic goodies to produce such lush growth.

hey thanks guys...

User Name - thats awesome man. The idea of leaving a gap in the sides of the screen definately has huge potential. I think you will end up with a very similar effect to the HOG method. I am glad my grow has influenced you to do this - best of luck and keep me posted on your progress.

He has, Gypsy mentioned it in my thread that they are a mix of Nivana strains.

I decided that I just had to cut down my plant as it was just too large, and taking way too long to mature and taking up a lot of space.

So in her place I put something else. I was also very nervous about its size because it stuck out and I cant hide such a large thing like that. My flat mate was complaining about her
In addition She was not getting enough sunlight and so half of her was underdevelloped.
One day when I have the right evironment for her then I will plant again.
Anway I did make Ice hash with my Ice-o-lator bags and got 1.5 gram from all the leaves and small buds. So she did not go entirely to waste.

I feel that I made the right decision. but I am sorry that I let you down because its nice to compare grows and as we are all in this together, its important that we compare info. But we all do what we have to do... and after all its just a plant- more can always be regrown.

Ezra your grow is looking great and I hope that you do manage to bring her to her conclusion after a full grow.

hey guys - more pics soon...

Ronley- dont feel bad about it man, you had to do it, I can fully understand. Mine are going really well at the moment. Although its a constant battle to keep the stretchy sativa pheno in check. Its that stretchy that I actually tied a knot in one of the branches without snapping it! One of the plants is developing a massive amount of trichomes and the buds looks frosty with huge calyxes (still small developing buds). They have a pungent stinky odour now which is somewhat skunky but with a twist.

OK here are some pics from today...

these are of the frostiest 007 pheno. notice the massive "open" calyxes covered in trichs with other calyxes growing out of them. the buds have some orange pistils but they are still nowhere near mature.

this is the "sativa pheno" 007. she is the biggest, most stretchy plant. the buds are still very young as you can see. very small calyxes with lots of long pistils. high calyx/leaf ratio.
