400W Ebb&flow Bling Bling+Sage&Sour

Hey guys!
Haven't posted much, as after OG shut down i moved on to the finnish hamppu.net forum. However, i've been lurking here for a while, and thought i would share my grow with you.

My closet specs:

55cm x 70cm x 200cm
400W Metal halide for veg
400W HPS for flowering
Activated carbon filter
Cooltube
160m/h inline duct fan for air removal
Ebb & Flow system, 35L grow tank, 45L reservoir
GHE Flora nutrients





My Ebb & Flow system is identical to the one built by Mr. Green for flowering in 'I Grow Chronic'. For more information, see the aforementioned video.

My closet is inhabited by 6 Bling Bling clones and 4 Sage & Sour clones.
Bling bling is a Finnish cross (made by horsma) and is a Chronic x G13.

Overview of all clones in the ebb & flow right after planting. The 6 on the left are bling bling, the remaining 4 sage & sour.




The clones were vegged for a week under the metal halide and then switched into flowering. At this point, i departed for 10 days to explore Europe using my interrail pass (way too much time was spent in amsterdam).

My Ebb & Flow waters the plants 3 times during the light cycle.

I came back on 16.7.2007, and my closet looked like this:

I had to tie some of the plants down (LST) to even out the canopy.

As an added bonus, some outdoor plants. It's a Finnish strain, has been out since the beginning of June:




A smaller autoflower plant (Durban poison x Lowryder) that was grown outdoors until transplanting into a pot on my balcony.

The air is pulled through the carbon filter by the duct fan, and blown through the cooltube and out the top of the closet. The duct fan blows 160 cubic meters per hour.

The bling bling is forming some nice buds, sage n sour a little slower. The girls are starting to stink, and there's already good trichome formation on *all* the leaves (including fans) on the bling blings. Had to do some more LST on a few plants to keep the tops even. Also took the cooltube up about 20cm.

One sage & sour pheno (i have cuts from 2 different plants, 2 each) is displaying a beautiful pink color on all the calyxes. Tried taking pics, but my 3.2mpix cellphone camera is no good. Need to get a better cam from my friend, ill add pics then.

the bling bling looks delicious already! the sage and sour have crazy lookin pistils too. those pink pisitls sound awesome, i've always wanted to grow a plant with that trait, i think it looks amazing in macro shots

In a surprise move, one pheno of sage & sour (upon checking the trichomes) appears to be almost ready for harvest. The trichomes were 85% cloudy and 15% amber. Thus, i started flushing one week earlier and will cut 2 of the sage & sours in a week or so. The other two ill see as they progress, bling bling is going 10 weeks. Babies getting a 3wk flush, should be smooth bud.
