400w C-13 2 liter SOG questions.

Well I've got four plants in my C-13 right now...all bagseed of great quality...alll females named appropriately after there looks/taste/smell...purple #2 (purp # 1 is mom only,couldn't fit her) fruit # 1 and fruit # 2 and finally fruit # 3.

I have cuts rooting of all plants (Purple # 1-#2 and Fruits # 1 -#3) but mostly of purp 1 and purp 2.

I plan on doing a sea of green once the donor plants have been harvested and taking clones of the clones to keep as mothers in my closet under 80w of T12 fluoros (two 2' 20w dual bulb fixtures).nyways I'd like to complete the SOG in 2 liter soda bottles and starting to flower when clones are no more then 6"-8" tall for a planned finishing height of 12-16" max.

I was wondering if I could fit 16 2 liter bottles in my C-13 as I have hopes of getting 1/4oz to 1/2oz per plant for a 1/4lb-1/2lb harvest every 8-12weeks (still need to see how long these babies go,hopefully no more then 10 weeks) as that would work out just fine for me and my friends that I like to keep supplied.I smoke about an ounce to 1.5oz a month to myself (and friends) and would like to supply some of my friends with an 1/8th-1/2 oz each every month depending on final harvest weight.

So do you guys think I'll be able to fit 16 two liter bottles in a 24" x 30" space?

PS: I'll be starting a grow thread/diary of this grow next week...I have a few pics from when they were younger and I'll update weekly with pics throught the flower cycle.

Do you use a C-13 or similar cab?What are the dimensions and what's the lighting?

3.5l bottles/planters....interesting.....hope you post pics of your grow and give a harvest/yield report!

i'd go with the biggest pots that allow you to do the sog. bigger roots=bigger buds. i would suggest either 1-gal bags since they can contort to the space or some square pots. if you're in a c-13 or similar then you probably have lots of height available, but not so much footprint, so one thing i like to do from time to time is use 1-gal nursery pots (which aren't really 1gal), cut off the bottoms and insert that into a cut 1-gal apple juice bottle then tape it up with duct tape. this way you get a 2-gal pot with the footprint of a 1-gal.

may i suggest that you dont give away bud to your friends let alone tell them your growing. there are literally hundreds of horror stories on this site alone of people breaking up friendships and having to break donw grows for fear of being busted. also when you have your own dank you may find your self consuming way over your usualy 1 oz per month. lol i could do that in a week if i wanted... yea i know time for a tolernece break.

I am not too concerned about my friends turning me in as these "friends" have been my friends since elementary school...I am now in my mid-late 20's.

I know not to let people know I grow but c'mon...these guys have known since my first grow back in middlesschool.It's all about knowing who you can trust and who you can't and my whole life I have been excellent in knowing who to tell and who not too...tahnks for the concern though.

Hell I could do an Ounce a day if I wanted to man but there is no point...I am an adult with a LIFE and job and there is no need for me to smoke that amount of bud.

bust out your tape measure and figure it out. Also I think your yield hopes of 1/4-1/2 it a little high especially with unknown bagseed. If I were you I'd see how many 1 gallon grow bags I could fit in there. And I'd buy some known genetics, well, unless your bagseed turns out to be stellar.

Well the dank I get around here is pretty damn good....Fla is one of the major MJ states....basically I have very high standards when it comes to weed and I am lucky to find 5 seeds in every qp.

I always end up with 100% females never get males or hermies.

I always buy indica or indica dominant buds becuase I like the couchlock high and medical benefits.

This is my second grow in my C-13 and the first one I used chrystal bagseed...two females flowered in 5 gallon pots,both plants were topped no fimming no scrog and I got just over 1/4 pound and if everything were trained right and I added an extra plant or scrog'd the two plants I'm sure I would have got close to a 1/2lb.

I don't think 1/4oz to 1/2 oz per 2 litter is all that much as I know one can gain more then that from a 2 liter pot.

SOG is more acceptable in my case as when you scrog you have to veg an extra week or two adding more time between crops and I'd personally rather harvest every 8 weeks if using an 8 week strain or every 10 weeks if using a 10 week strain etc. etc. and have the clones ready to be put into flower as soon as the others are harvested so no time is lost in the turn around.

1/4lb in a C-13 with 400w HPS isn't a respectable yield IMO becuase I didn't even hit the 0.5 gram benchmark.....0.5 grams x 400 watts = 200 grams (that's 24 grams less than a 1/2lb) or just over 7 oz.

My last harvest was in the 0.3 gram +/- area.

If I can get to the 0.5 gram benchmark then I'll be happy and if I can surpass that one day with better genetics/setup then I'll be damned!

I'm sure after I harvest this crop I'll have a good idea on what can be done utilizing the SOG technique and if I find the SOG was wrong way to go then I will try screen of green as I know that was the way to go with the Chrystal bagseed I grew out.........This = just over a 1/4lb...two plants...
