400 with cooltube or 600 w/ cooltube

alright im trying to step my grow game up im growing in a closet with the deminsions of 29" deep 61" tall 44" wide would it make my closet too hot for my girls with these lights? im using a 150w hps now with just a fan and it gets pretty warm in there

For watts = mor heat. What are yor temps now? With anymore watts I would say you would need proper ventilation, ie an inline fan to exhaust the hot air into the room, or even better, to a totally different area or outside. It's a pain in the ass, but you can't let them cook in there. On the other spectrum, I have grown in apprx the same size of a box in an attic in the summer. Temps would soar up to 110-115 at times if I wasn't very careful. They survived well, but drank a lot of water. Avg temps were probably 95-105F during that summer in the box. So you can grow at higher temps, just not recommended of course. Gl

yeah the temps here in central cali reach around 100+ which sucks cause all we have is a damn swap cooler. you know the funny thing is ive been spending alot of money ever since i got my mj card i think i need to stop n see if i could master this 150 hps i got with a scrog or something. i guess what im trying to say is im doing to much too fast

I'd suggest a 600 with an air-cooled reflector, not a Kooltube. Given the dimensions of your room, I'd go with a 6" SS Magnum XXXL and a LST'd garden. Take a look in my sig for training/pruning instructions. Good luck.
