400 watts in a tent / diy ebb n flow / GHS Lemon Skunk flowering

Ok I've been putting off making a thread for a while because pictures are such a damn hassle and I don't really know what to say but I figured it's about time since I've got a few things I could use some advice on.

I started with 220w of hps in this tent but then upgraded....

I'm running 400 watts of hps in a 20x36x64 tent
Diy cool tube on its own circuit that sucks from my little veg box, through the light and up to the attic through a stanley blower.
Another stanley sucking though a scrubber, out and up to the attic.
A diy ebb n flow table running r/o water, Lucas with GH nutes, 8/16ml plus liquid kool bloom.
temps run 80-85 and humidity around 50-55%

I have a shitty little home made reflector over the light, dont know why it wasn't in that pic...

I started with I think 8 Lemon Skunk clones from Green House
2 of them rooted and went on to veg for a while in the tent.
I wanted to flower only one of them so i tried to put one of them in a hempy type tub and let it keep vegging, took clones from both and flipped one to flower on Oct. 8th.
Another reason I didn't want to try to make a full "diary" was because its been a pretty unorganized and poorly planned journey up to this point and is kind of hard to explain and I end up blabbing about nothing.
Anyway, the hempy didn't work out and she was looking pissed so I put her back on the ebb n flow table, in the tent on 12/12. So now I have 2 flowering, one about 2 1/2 weeks behind the other. GREAT!
I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do when it comes time to flush and everything but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. Hand watering could be an option I suppose. Suggestions?
So I'm in week 6 with the older one and about to start week 4 on the younger.

Now here's where I'm looking for some help. Everything is looking ok other than what i think is a calcium or mag. deficiency? What do you think?


I know Lucas with r/o water tends to bring on a lack of calcium and mag, does it look like I'm facing that?
Also the buds on the older one seem sort of dryish, not really sticky or super sugary...could this be a symptom of the deficiency? Some of the lower buds feel much more sticky and moist while the tops feel more dry. What does everyone think and suggest? What about everything else, how does it look?

Hey there foo...
I use Rez's recipe as well...however.
I find that alot of my indicas love a little bit more nutes than the 6/9. Since you put it under a more powerful bulb there are more lumens the plant can use and is....The KoolBloom takes care of some more P and K for the plant....and the N is being lowered slightly...so it remains the same....but those MICROS!
I use a hybrid of lucas (8/16) and Recipe (6/9)....lucas is a 1:2 ratio and Recipe is a 1:1.5 ratio. Increase your micro to 8 and your bloom will be at 12. 8/12 is what my plants LOVE under High Pressure. Not too much like the 8/16....but no deficiencies like the 6/9.

EDIT Dont forget to lower the micro though....it is still plentiful in N so you wanna start pulling that out anyways....your leaves are naturally gunna discolor and wanna fall off when this happens..

thanks a lot Ioni....after reading that it clicked and i looked back at my notes and I am running 8/16 lucas....i was reading about the 6/9 when i posted and typed that for some reason...damn that sucks, I apologize.
Buts still, based on how it looks, should i try to solve the deficiency with the GH micro or buy something like cal mag so i can avoid adding N with the with GH micro? I have had the claw from too much N for most of the grow. I also have a full bottle of GH grow if that would help me at all. Thanks for your help!

i think that sometimes lucas with FN B is an inappropriate regimen. for indicas, it seems to be too much N coupled with not enough P nor K. Recently, i started using this formula in mid flower. Next time i will use it even earlier, but its FN B at 2.5-5ml per gal with 5ml per gal PK1314.

looking at the guide to sick plants it does look like P and K deficiency...I'll bring those up and see what happens...I thought I had compared pictures .and it looked like calcium and made sense with the r/o and lucas but i guess i remembered wrong. It looks a lot like the picture for phosphorus in the guide. Thanks buddin

what brand is your grow tent.. off-brand grow tents that are made with PVC inner lining will offgass, harming u and ur plants.. ur plant look like it has pvc offgassing, or bad tent sicknes
