Alright i got a couple kush clones and it got me motivated to get something built.
This was the start of framing it, with security watching in the doorway.
we pretty much used some 2x4's we had lying around and framed a structure. It's about 58 inches tall by 23 inches deep and i belive it was a bit more than 3 and a half feet wide. Used some black plastic we had and wrapped it up sort of like a little tent.
We used a bathroom fan we had on hand to exhaust out the top, it pushes a descent amount of air out of there.
We then lined the inside with emergency camping blanket, put in a 400 watt switchable ballast with a MH in there right now for vegging. We're using an emilys garden as of right now with flora grow nutrients. i mixed 3 teaspoons with 2 gallons of water for the reservoir.
heres the clones after we transplanted them to their new hydro home. I didnt know they were going to have so much roots already or i might of left them in the soil.
Last night was teh first night it ran, and i already know there will be some problems. The minimum last night hit 58 (its in the garage and lights off are from 12am-6am.) and the max got to about 81, but most the time i monitored it, it showed in the mid 70's. Thats too much fluctuation and i know, so im thinking of getting a little heater fan to put on the floor to maybe kick on when the lights go off to keep it a bit warmer. Also its not completely light proof at the moment, but come payday im considering buying about 40 sq feet of the two sided shit from the hydro store. We also need to get some sort of intake in there. I'm also leading towards changing the hydro system to single DWC buckets. maybe some 4 gallon ones, because i think with the space i have single buckets would yield me much better. Im thinking about taking a few clones off whichever looks better/bigger in a few weeks and then flowering them in maybe 3?.
I want to do some LST'ing to them but not sure when to start... But any comments, suggestions, critcism is encouraged, as this is my first go round ever.
