400 watt, 6 plant maximum: 2x4 tent or 4x4 tent?

State law allows 6 plants, and my utility situation is such that i cannot exceed 400 watts. Which size tent should I get? I know 4x2 tent= 50 watts per square foot, but would more room allow for the girls to grow bigger even if they receive less intensity?

my 4x4x6 works great with a 400, actually I use a 330cmh and added a 150 hps for extra
FIrst grow was 3 plants
Flowering now with 7

if you have room I'd get the 4X4 you won't have to worry about heat, you'll have room for anything then.

Totally 4X4, im having tent 5X5 and 5 plants inside and its getting pretty tight in there.The heat was my prob cause i have 600w hps inside there, cooltube solved it totally.Cooltube+ carbon filter, no heat no smell.thats the way to do it!anyways tent is totally worth it
