400/600 watt Basement Closet LST various top strains

Space: Basement Closet W: 3' D: As much as I need H: Lights are 4' off the ground

Lights: 600 Watt MH/HPS Air cooled 6" Duct (2 in line fans 1 6" on light and one 8" on end home depot special) and 400 Watt MH/HPS all in one air cooled unit with the same cooling. Mylar on walls

Soil: Fox Farm Happy Frog + perlite

Pots: Party cups, 1.5g pots, 3 gal grow bags

Tools: Hanna PH tester, Soil moisture meter, Hygrometer, Thermometer, Digital Timers, Heater (for germ)

Nutrients: Fox Farm Grow Big and Tiger Bloom (previous nutes) Pure Blend Pro Bloom, Hygrozyme, Liquid Karma, Hydroplex (Pictured)

Strains: Dutch Passion Blueberry (1), Dutch Passion Isis (2) Greenhouse Seeds White Rhino (2) Femaleseeds Grapefruit x Nevilles Haze (All fem seeds)

Temps: 65-68 Ambient temp, 76 Both lights on, 70 during germ

Humidity: 45-55%

Plan: Veg 1 month or until sex is shown. Flower for 2 months or until done, LST like crazy to keep under/or right at 3' tall.

Germ: Soaked all day in PH adjusted water then put into paper towels overnight and all day. All but 2 cracked, planted in soil anyway.

3 6500k cfls over 7 red party cups covered with plastic wrap with a hole cut into the top.

Update: all 7 popped soil, the blueberry which didn't crack popped last.

Light schedule: 24/0
Keeping soil evenly moist, plastic wrap was removed when they popped soil

Update on the new ladies

Day 9:

Transplanted
Changed light schedule to 18/6









When do you think these girls will be ready to move under the 400MH?

Personally I would wait a couple nodes, while keeping the cfl's as close as possible

So you suggest topping and putting them under the 400 around 2' away?

Long time since last check in, I was out of town on an 8 Day vacation... was glorious. Had a friend taking care of the ladies...

They were put under the 400 MH @ 3rd node @ 18" away
They were topped at the 4th node
They need some water in the pics
Transplant was overdue
and these ladies are begging for some food and more space!, at least thats how I interpret the way they look



Transplanted into 1.5 gallon pots, straight up happy Frog soil

Added: (~ = approx)
~13ml of Liquid Karma
~8ml of hygrozyme
~5ml of Grow Big


Think that will be fine for first feeding?

Those are some nice roots, those plants should take off in their new homes. Depending on how hot your area is, I would think about trying to get that light a touch closer, possibly 12 inches, really push the denser growth

currently its about 16" away from the 400, ill kick on the 600 when they need to spread out more

Day 29 aka 1 month

They LOVED the transplant and the nutes.... As I said earlier the GH White Rhino def seems to be sensitive to everything... next feeding (this sunday) ill be giving her a slightly more watered down feeding than the rest.


Im completely amazed as to how well these girls bounced back... the following pics are 4 days after the last set of pics... Huge improvement.


Oh a couple of them are already showing roots at the bottom.... Looks like ill have to transplant into their final home sunday.

At that point ill give them till thursday to adjust to their home and start the flowering process.

First night ill give them 24 hours of darkness then ill start the 12/12 light schedule to make sure they kick into flowering mode. thoughts?


The 2 plants you see that still have significant yellowing are the White Rhino's... any comments on how to proceed with them?

The last pic is the Isis top forming a nice Y

The tallest girl is the Grapefruit X Nevillas Haze at 5.5"
The light is ~15" above the tallest girl

Gave them straight up water for transplant, appear to be doing really healthy besdies the White Rhino... anyone have an suggestions for those girls? Everything was ready to transplant except for those two. bitches. Also went ahead switched everything over to the 600 watter.

Day 36, started 12/12 the night of these pics (yesterday)

Fed them a bit higher dosage of the same ferts as before


What can you guys tell me about Black Strap Molasses, how often should i feed? how much? at what point? etc.
