4 two ton window a/c units indoors.

so i have room i need to cool.20 x 40 room inside a warehouse.i have a 3 x 36 foot run outside the wall.i thought that i would have four window units every six feet or so(8 tons of cooling).install a roof over the hall(never use the hall).have two 16 inch vortexes suck the hot air through vents.two 16 inch inlets.you see any problems?i would like to have a 10 ton roof system,but limit funds now.

D9 has a similar setup in his wicked pulse thread in the vert section.
Aslong as 8 tons is enough cooling for the amount of lights your gonna have. You should be good.

Its going to greatly depend on how many 1ks. And then of course the height of your ceiling.... insulation... region etc. I helped a guy out that had (3) 24,000 wall shakers, 16k, in a room roughly half the size of yours, and it barely kept up when the outdoor temp was over 90°. But, it also wasn't insulated as well as it shouldve been, and not quite enough exhaust for the hoods. That, and I have always felt that window units as well as, especially portables, don't really match their rated output........ But maybe Im just an HVAC guy with a biased opinion ;)

In other words, need a bit more info for anyone to tell you its gonna work.
