4 month old pollen

Hi Guys I have some pollen that is 6 months old I salvaged from a male that flowered on a fucked up timer. Its been stored in the refrigerator in a test tube covered by a piece of micropore tape. Log story short, NOT frozen, and Not air tight. I have nothing to lose by trying it, which I will do, I'm just trying to get an Idea of what I can expect.

It really depends on the condensation/moisture issues inside that test tube.

If your pollen has been kept dry, you have a good chance of making some seeds. If not, then not.

If those pistils are ready -- go for it. You'll find out soon enough :)

i'll guess you may have some luck
refrigerator's air is very dry, and that's what preserves pollen
it will also depend on how the pollen was dried, if it was spread thin, that will help

i've used pollen stored the same way after 1 year in the fridge. very low viability but some worked.
