4 Days after transplant, still dying, help please!

Hey everyone, this is my second grow; first time was in hydro and from seed, but this time I am growing some wifi in coco (60:40 of coco to perlite). The clones are about 5 days old and theyre under a 400w HPS which is 17” away on a 20/4 light schedule. Now initially I screwed up and didn’t condition my coco after I rinsed it (in a pillow case until it ran clear, so rinsed for about 20 min). But as of a day ago ive added ¼ strength of heads formula 6/9ml gal w/ 1ml cal mg a gal as well. They’ve been watered twice so im hoping that later today or tomorrow the coco has some nutes in it an allows them to perk back up… I also foliar fed them some b1 earlier today. Any suggestions on what I can do to make them rebound quicker or what is wrong with them? It looks like they’re over watered but everywhere I’ve read, you supposedly can’t over water coco? At this point im wondering if I should just pull them and cut my losses and just go back to hydro. Thanks for the help everyone.

Overwaterd to the max. They cant breathe... thats what the clawing is all about. You can possibly save them by repotting them again, but when you repot them, make sure the soil is just moist out of the bag and not packed too hard and do not water it until it shows signs of recovery. It needs to be able to recover and it's not going to happen in soggy/wet soil. It can recover if you act quickly as it appears to be holding.

You can def over water the first week or so in coco. You don't want your coco soaking wet but you don't want it dry at the same time...think moist! I go every other day with seedlings or fresh clones for about a week then they usually have a good enough root system to go to everyday feedings.

Just finished repotting them. 2 of them looked like their roots were starting to recover whereas one of them there was literally no root growth. I'm hoping they all rebound, fingers crossed.

When the plants are young like that you want some dry cycles in there to get the roots to grow out. You need proper root development before you can really soak through the coco and get them drinking a lot so you see your medium dry out quite quickly

So when should I water the coco again?

When it's bone dry on the top 2", light And start to see the soil shrink from the sides of the pot.
With the slow growth it may be a few days.

It may be worth waiting until you start to see some droop from drying out, not bad droop but a little. Just so from there on out you have a better idea what to look for dryness. Most strains will love a wet dry cycle in soil and coco and roots will thrive.
