Hey guys, Ive got 4 boggelgum started from seed under 400 watts of CFL, about 3 weeks old. did a transplant recently into some 10 inch pots and ever since then they have been showing massive amounts of yellowing, before the transplant these girls were the greenest things I had ever seen, i let the soil go pretty dry after the transplant and I hit them with their first shot of fox farm grow big yesterday, all the new growth that is coming out looks good, but the leafs on the botom are turning more yellow by the day, HELP!

Are they yellow through out the leaf or are they spotted or are they yellow on the margins between the Veins on the leaf blade? Is there any burn on the tips or crispy patches to go along with the yellowing? Did you use a foliar feed before transplanting (like the Night before)? I hit my younguns with some Thrive Alive B1 Organic or some SuperThrive in a weak dilution directly on the leaves (Over and Under) then let them Dry in a dark place in the room. I usually only water them right after a transplant. My boggles have proven to be a Mg hungry beeatches and they get a little pinch of Epsom Salts in their waterings. How big are the plants?

weedwrapperman-its more of a spot yellowing, one plant is showing the tiniest bit of burning on the tips of its leaves, but just a tiny tiny bit, overall the plants are more yellow than before the transplant, but like I said its more just the bottoms, on their very first set of true leaves, they were never fed before yesterday, im going to try and post a pic, the plants are like 4 inches high maby they jsut spurted out their first stes of real 5's recently

1 Tablespoon per gallon sounds right for FF Grow Big but I haven't used that in a few years. What is in your Medium?

theres no way burning is the awnser....they yellowed long before i added the grow big, the only reason I did actually was becasue im sure I have a deficency some sort, either nitrogen or somethis else

it is possible that you have a Magnesium defficiency.... my bogglegum mother eats that stuff up!

I beleive that it is either a magnesium defficiency or Nitrogen, I know the grow big will take care of the nitrogen, any thought on what I should add for the mag defficency?

Tis true that by flowering time many of my strains need a touch of the epsom salts but you need to be able to recognize it for what it is and when mg deficiency is the answer a teaspoon to a table spoon for larger plants can be mixed with a gallon and watered normally. Once usually does it and normally it occurs later. My guess is that the plants had become rootbound before the transplant and that the yellowing was about to occur anyways. Usually a few days after transplant plants recover quickly whether it be transplant shock or from being rootbound. I doubt you need mg yet. BOG

thanks for all your help guys, bog man I also think that it may have just been a rootbound problem, as they do get a little better every day, if nothing else the grow big I gave them has shown a explosion in vegatative growth, the nodes it was growing before I added the fox farm are HUGE now, 48 hours later.....I love IC mag its like this little world I live in that not alot of people know about, you guys are the shit, thanks for all your help and ill keep you updated on how they are doing.
