Hello folks!
Here we are, it seems like a good time to start up a grow diary. Here's some history!
I put an 8x8 room in during January with the help of a pal I call the Professor. He tuned up all my systems and during the first crazy nine weeks, I got a crash course in cannabis cultivation.
After that first run, the Professor took his leave and it was on me to get a second round running -- so I did. And, in the midst of crazy stressors in my life, the garden became my little happy buddha garden of tranquility. Harvest time was modest (About 3.5 lbs from 20 plants. Still a noob!), but delicious.
Some structural issues with the building that my original room was in forced my hand in putting up a new room -- but it's ended up being a VERY exciting upgrade. Here's the stats:
25x4
5 air cooled 600w HPS lamps.
One fancy cO2 generator that is smarter than I am
and right now, 18 plants, in their third week of flower.
There's a mix of
Mango (possibly Somango?)
Strawberry Diesel
Enigma (which no one is sure of the genetics on? Maybe why its enigma. Hard hitter tho and a fave across the board)
and a couple Sour Queen x Enimas.
All of these plants were gifts from the Professor when we put in room number one. There was also strawberry cough. but I managed to not take my clones in time and miss it entirely somehow. Sigh! I am sure I will be able to track down a clone at some point. We'll just keep our peepers out for that.
I have a mediocre understanding of the systems in my room. I am trying to get my brain wrapped around the co2 generator + the can filter right now. (Both new additions to the room)
Here's a shot from my last grow of the Enigma. Yum.
Here's the room when I first flipped this first half to bud. I know it looks pretty ghetto, but its coming together now:
Last weekend I did a little fussing around with the babies:
And last night I constructed this new little veg room which is really floating my boat right now:
So, halfway through this, I will fill the rest of the room up, another 18 plants. In theory, I should be pulling half the room just about once a month, give or take a few days. We're flying by the seat of our jeans here, and just see what really happens. And if it happens like I think it might.
I will get in and take more photos tonight, we're starting to get some lovely little pistily buds.
So, pull up a seat ask any questions you may have, and lets go for a long green ride!
