3LB/Flintstoners, question for u; bf#2

holy crap i didn't know u guys were back around for so long under a different nick here...anyways this is probly the wrong forum but i don't have enough posts to pm and i wanna make sure u see this so i'm here in your organic forum

question is i've got some blowfish of yours from mom#2, one pack left of 3 i originally bought and i gifted the other two out to local friends to get them growing...what was the mom of #2 like though? i thought this was the one that most resembled the katsu cut but after popping a few i'm kinda having not the best results...the smell is very familiar like the katsu cut i held for a while and regrettably lost to spider mites, but the flowers don't have the resin production and taste that i was hoping for like the katsu cut and im wondering if i read about another release (there were 5 if i remember right?) and accidentally bought the wrong ones cuz they're kinda disappointing...no hard feelings toward y'all cuz they were a steal on cbay at like $20/pack and i read damn near everything you ever posted on the old cworld site and have lotsa respect for yoos guys/gals...just wondering if there was a better mom to have bought beans of or if i just had shitty luck on these first few and might possibly find what im looking for in the rest of the pack, cuz space is real limited and it's a toss up as to whether i should dedicate some space to the other beans

Got any pics? I have a pack of those and pack of the ones from mom #5. How many beans did you pop?

no pics...they were like two runs ago and i only thought now to ask after seeing 3lb around again, i thought they were gone for good

i only popped 3 beans, 1 male and 2 girls, they just didn't fill in all that well and having run katsu's cut in the past i had something in mind about what they'd be like and they weren't as good as the katsu cut...lacking in resin production and potency...the smell was there, but it didn't really carry over into the smoke in taste...i'll pop the rest of the pack eventually i'm sure with the dozen or so beans i have left that i'll find something...i think u might be better off with #5 but just a guess...good luck with them

forgot about this thread...anyways, i found the answer to my question so here's the listing if anyone else is curious...

Blowfish #1 F2 - True Dutch Flower Description/Complex smell
Blowfish #2 F2 - Frankincense (matched to Excalibur)
Blowfish #3 S1 - Stronger, but undetermined smell (matched w Blowfish mix)
Blowfish #4 F2 - Jasmine Floral (matched to Heri)
Blowfish #5 F2 - Juicy Fruit/Tropical Fruit Heaven (Matched to Huey)

though i was disappointed in the first girls i got, i still have beans left and have read reports from someone who had better results with the same #2 mom beans so i'll give the rest of them a go sometime soon...seems i just had bad luck, kind of to be expected from only popping a couple, but we always cross our fingers going into these things don't we
