3D printing hydroponics and gardening parts

The last few times this subject came up in threads was many years ago. So maybe it's time for a new one? I know that 3D printing has gotten affordable lately, and many towns even have maker spaces with 3D printers available, so I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience 3D printing their gardening parts? If so, let's talk about what printers are being used, what 3D modeling software, what kind of material spools, etc.

I have so many ideas that I've run into over the years that I could have just whipped out in a 3D printer, but I didn't have one. Now that I'm mostly staying in the micro gardening arena, it's gotten harder to find solutions for things that I need in my DIY designs. I just might buy a 3D printer finally.

Im doing it :)

Dont use pla for parts you want to last. Its biodegradable... Petg is inert and easy enough to print. (Same material pop bottles are made out of)

These came off the printer in the last 12 hours.

Purple is a thingiverse find - cloning pod, going to use it in place of rockwool (filled with polyfill)

Scaled it down to 75% hinges snap at all sizing I've printed at - so itll be elastic to hold it together.

Print is awful since the person included supports and theirs are specd out badly for my printer.

White is a a holder for the pod to hold it in a 2" pot hole in the aerocloner.

As far as printers, i run mostly creality. The cr10s is my workhorse. I have a few enders, tevo tornado, jgaurora.

Modeling software fusion 360. Once you follow enough youtubes from lars at autodesk you'll get the hang of it. Please dont sketchup, the world will thank you :) (sketchup models are almost always fucky for me. Simplify3d hates them, pretty much have to downgrade to cura if its something i really want to print)

Just this guy, ya know?
If anybody has a 3d printer there are a few things you can print to help first responders. Namely the montana mask and the surgical mask extender. I've printed up almost 200 for the local hospital they really help a ton with mask ear. www.makethemasks.com for the montana mask
