i used a 45 pint in a 8 x 10 x 9 i belive it was a kenmore? ( from homedepot ) right around $250 when lights where on it never ran ( a/c was on ) at night it never shut off ( a/c never on)..... i ran it this way for about 2 yr's then after researching i found out it was from my a/c being to big (25,000 btu ) i down sized to a 10,000 and it could not keep my room cool....... so i went to to a 12,000btu and aircooled hood's... now my a/c run's when the lites are on and about 6 hrs when lites are off my dehu just setting there for week's turning on 1-2 times, so i sold it and never needed it agian....

how much would the temps rise in a 8x8x 7 ft ceiling with no cooling? running through a cool tube? fan I'm at a place where it is brutally cold 5 month of the winter,
I'm concerned about not enough heat.veg room has been at a constant 77degrees with 50-55 humidity. ambient temp outside is 100 with 80 humidity

In a few months of harvest it will did down to the 40's at night and low 60's
in the day fir a month and then get nasty 15 dergee and 20 below for 4 months..

I started with a small 65 pint Comfort-air dehumidifier, it has two settings:
1) on for 2 hours - off for 2 hours
2) on for 4 hours - off for 4 hours
As I started adding more lighting ( I use about 5500 watts) the the poor thing couldn't pull down the humidity much below 75%. So I have updated to Santa Fe Advance dehumidifier unit its made in the USA by Therma - Stor. When I turn it on for the first time I could see and feel the humidity drop. With in a few short minutes it dropped the humidity 20 points. Like all good things its not cheap $1100.00. visit www.sylvane.com to get yours. Good Luck!
