Are you growing in the proper latitude and elevation for those two? Indoor grows? I have trouble getting a decent outdoor finish here as the elevation is about 5600 feet. Maybe I will try Autos or a pure Indica.

Try it, they will start flowering in end september/october, probably.
So there's still some time for veg.
Let them go as long as you can, if there's no frost go till january.

Yeah, do it.
I once had Ace Malawi and AngolaThai, sown in beginning of july. Sadly they never finished because of december frost, if they were clones the story would have a happier ending.
Also try with some less tropical genetics, if you have some.

Yes. The clones will be the same age as the mother plant they were taken from. Seeds start on the date they sprout. Anyway the clones will be older then the seeds you plant.

Hi willydread,

You are still on time to germinate some sativa seeds and try to catch up the outdoor season.

Our genetics have been bred and tested in mediterranean climate so they will work at your location. Choose genetics of your taste that finish before the frosts at your location, you will find the flowering times of the strains and their outdoor harvest time in the strain descriptions at our website.

Let us know if you have any other doubt.

Kind regards,

I just soaked some Zamaldelica seeds today. Im at 37N, coastal California, first frosts usually end of Dec/January. I've never started seeds this late so we'll see what happens.

Do you mean make a cutting (clone) or do you mean top off the plant so it grows more branches? I like to take cuttings (clones) while the plant is in vegetative growth. The same with topping the plant as it has to be in vegetative growth so it grows more tops. You can actually take a cutting (clone) at any time, but when the plant is in flower growth it takes a very long time and I have never had much luck. When the plant is in flower it has to reverse itself and go back into vegetative growth to grow some roots, then it has to go back into flowering growth again. All this stuff really stresses the plant and you might get bad things like hermie plants or mutant plants.
