they are at 32 days now from the day I cut them from my mother...or if ya like, they are about two and a half weeks from the day they rooted...I can usually get all my clones to root in 10-14 days with about a 90-95% success rate...

lookin good ;)

lookin good ;)

420 guy...you would see tighter node spacing and overall better growth if you slammed those fixtures within inches of the tops... Fluro's are great, but diminish faster than you think. Are you planning on lst'ing or scrogging or some other method to keep your tops uniform and near the light/energy? It is definately something to consider if you want to maximize your yield :)

kokua...i raised them for a better picture...usually hang about 6-8 inches above canopy...i use my light meter to kinda find my "sweet spot"...thanks for stopping by

Cool grow! I can't wait to see how it turns out. What clones do you have growing and do you plan on using flourecents through out the entire grow? If so I am very interested to see how well your yeild turns out. I'll be watching this one. Good Luck!

Hey 420...

I'm interested in how the T5's work...any more pictures? The last pic was about a month old.

Thanks.

i'll get some more up in a few days as i have been busy trimming away...the plants in the pictures have already been switched over to my flower room, so the new ones will be of recent clippings...

TGT- i only use the t-5's during veg stage...four 1000 watt hps in the flower room...i usually get about 2-2 1/2 pounds from six dwc buckets every 3-4 weeks...the strains going now are British Columbia Seed Companies White Lightning and Federation Seed Companies Blue Dynamite...

Hal-the t-5's work AMAZING...next to zero heat so ya can slam 'em right on top of the canopy...lumen output real comparable to the h.i.d. and less power consumption than standard h.i.d. lighting...only real downside to 'em is that they really don't penetrate much past 36" so in my case i can only use 'em to veg. but would be PERFECT for closet growers and such

Hey 420...

Yeah, I am thinking about using them in a real small cab (ballpark dimensions are: 48" high, 24" wide, 14" deep), would mount the T5 fixture vertically on the back wall. The cabinet would only support one row of plants grown in 6" square pots, using 12/12 lighting right from seed (tends to keep plants more "pole" shaped). The T5's would only need to penetrate about 10", at which time the light would hit the bright white wall and bounce back at the plant.

Think the T5's would provide enough light in that situation? Its quite possible that my main question should be about heat though....do you think that heat might pose a significant issue? I was hoping to ventilate with only computer fans, much cheaper, but also much weaker than the vortex, etc.

Thanks for your help.

the t-5's would DEFINATELY provide ya with enough light for your area...heat won't be an issue either bro, believe me when i tell ya they put off almost no heat...with any sort of fan in there to provide normal air circulation, you should have the perfect temps...stay safe and good luck...
