30x60 Greenhouse Layout

I am thinking of going with 100x 45 gallon smart pots. What plant count and pot size would you use to maximize yield in a 30x60 area?

I have used 45 gallon smart pots in my light deps that yielded roughly a pound per plant and they were about 4-5 ft tall on average. 65's or 100's sound like they might be perfect for you. 200's are what I consider the most efficient size, but might yield plants bigger than you want in your greenhouse.

Thanks for the reply. Yes 200's I believe might be more than I can handle. What kind of spacing do you give your 45 gallons?

what are your temps?i know people running in a greenhouse about that size and they have found that running 3 to 5 gal coco seems to work well with no plant numbers. They picked coco over soil due to pest management also they are on a drip feed multiple times per day

My outdoor temps are 70-80. Coco is a good idea I've been using Root Organics so far.

size of the pot plus 3 feet on all sides:tiphat: this gets you 6' in between each pot, after things fill in you will not be able to walk between the plants:woohoo:

leave 6' from walls and isles too

a 45 gallon smart pot of coco, will require 90-180 gallons of water a day, with no less than 4-6 waterings a day.

my 5 gallon hempy coco buckets use 8-12 gallons a day

You can do autos and do 3 gallon pots, with 1 plant per sqft. You'll easily fit a few hundred in there and have your first harvest in two months, then use that money to fund a big photo grow

I thought about autos but I dont like the earthy taste of the ruderalis. I am thinking of going with 100x 45 gallon pots. I am trying to yield 1lb off each. I am just trying to find out the best way to space them in a 30x60 greenhouse. Also maybe if I should adjust pot size or plant count to maximize yield of my space.
