I have snowcap and urkle it looks lise 3-4 weeks left.. I've sprayed w/ Ed Rosenthals zero tolerance when they were young, switch to a citrus spray, and prytham?? bombs x 4 and thet WONT QUIT.. Will or could i t ruin my bud?? What else can I do.. see photos...
I just got rid of spider mites and I tried everything and the only thing that actually worked was:
1 oz 100% Neem Oil
1 oz liquid dish soap
I mix that into a gallon of water. The Neem gets thick when it gets cold so you might have to run it under warm water before you use it. Even when you mix it with the water you might have to run the whole thing under warm water before you use it and shake it real good. Do one treatment and then 7 days after do another and another 2 weeks after that. Spider mites don't live that long and the Neem makes it so they can't lay eggs but you have to use it a few times to get rid of the other generations of mites that come out of the old eggs. Be careful about getting it on all your buds but i've been told that Neem will taste better than spider mites. If you always do a treatment of Neem before you go into flowering even if you don't have mites then you most likely won't get such of a bad infestation. Good Luck and bud looks nice.
Try ,, lemon juice soultion in water.. applied to the undersides of the fan leaf,,, using a small cotton bud on a stick or a sponge to remove adults and eggs.
this will NOT erradicate mites completely,, but it will help limit damage control.
next make plans to tidy the grow-room now before the next crop,, think about drying the plants in a place away from new/young plants!!!
I use neem oil at 8ml per liter with a few drop's of washing up liquid so it only just emulisifys and i soak a few gram's of tobacco in boiling water which is left overnight then i strain that and add it to the neem oil solution and that work really well for most pests.
i'd rather smoke spider mites than neem oil!!! please don't use neem oil this late into the bloom.
IMO, unless there are webs growing all over the buds, i prolly wouldn't do anything other than use a vacuum. if you must spray, go get a pyrethrin bomb.
wait till you cut the buds then bomb the piss outta your room and plants that are vegging...you have a chance of getting those bastards in between harvests but you HAVE to be diligent, careful, and thorough.
no pest strip no mites in 24 hrs period...they are a little far in to add a no pest strip but you got to get a lot of lady bugs or a nopest strip or smoke webbing and bugs...i personally have no problem dropping the no pest h-bomb lol on the borg bastards any time i even see one...great looking budage by the way
Drop your temps, increase your wind in the room (watch for drying), hit the tops with a battery-operated 'dust buster' type vac. This should knock the population down and slow reproduction until you harvest those GORGEOUS buds.
Then go for the big guns before you re-populate the room: BUG BOMBS, set off a few days apart. Hang a No-Pest strip (try to ventilate the room before working in there with it). Hit the plants with a good dose of AVID on day 1 of flower.
If your mites are always really bad, it wouldn't hurt to bug bomb the whole house a couple times to kill stragglers.
Are the pest strips/bug bombs bad for vegetative plants? I have a new wave of seedlings ready to go into my grow tent but I need to bug bomb the room...so I'm wondering if I should bug bomb first then take the plants in, or bug bomb/pest strip with the plants in the grow tent... I want to get the seedlings in the grow tent as fast as possible, every day they aren't in there it's hurting them (they're in my closet under shitty cfl's)
Your plants have a good amount of resin on them for still having 3 weeks of flowering left. If the mites are truly out of control as you have expressed, I would suggest you go ahead and cut your losses and CHOP. Make bubble or oil, and next time take more preventative measures from the get-go. Better luck next time, my friend. Spider Mites are terrible little bastards. Take care.
sm-90 will kill your spider mites just apply as directed on bottle. It looks like your pretty far into flowering, one of the best insecticides of sort is the trichomes your plants have. I think your going to be just fine! best of luck !
