3 stems on the node!

Hi all

I know that I'm not a experienced grower, but I always thought that it was only 2 stems per node when growing from seed!?
making kinda like a cross shape viewed from the top!

it looks like I found 3 stems on the same node in one of my NYCD...

Just curious to know if is this normal?

Congratz man!

That's a good thing. I've seen even more than 3 sprout from a node before. Just means you'll have 3 bud-sites instead of 2.

But you grow long enough you see a tri or two in your day.

You are lucky if she grows like a regular plant though, that doesn't happen much in my experience.

yours is unique if she didn't show tri from day one though

Ill bump this thread... Hope you dont mind..

I have a brainstorm going 3leaf/branches per node.
Right now I lack a cpu, and browsing on the phone is a pain...

What I found out so far is that yield will not be increased, and alot of info on why and whats happening with the plant.. But this is not what im after..

However; im curious if anyone has useful information about if clones will go into 2-branch (read somewhere that topping may change the plant back into "normal".
And is those 3 stems just to much in my planned vert-scrog?
Like... Is there any idea of keeping a clone for genepool?

When a plant is mature the nodes alternate. So clones will only have one leaf at a time , just like normal.
