I quite regularly get these now (well one in 10 or so) as at first I thought they would give me 50% more yield and so always bread them into my genetic line but to be honest the nodes just develop a greater distance between each other at 12/12 stretch and only yield the same per plant as the standard 2 per node. They do however produce more growing sites for lower branches to develop and the greater distance between nodes seems to allow more light to penetrate the top canopy, however I deont bother with sog,scrog or massive trees just topping at first sign of 12/12 stretch to limit hight and minimise that damn time delay between topping and seeing double the stems, or in these cases treble the stems.
