hi people thanks for the comments, these little babes are basking under 110 watts of flouro's and then they will be going under 1200 watts of sodium. i might even run a halide in there to increase the uv, any hazey tips are much appreciated.
Hey there jingles, lovely plants. 1200w for three plants or less (if one or two turns male)? That's a luxurious treat, I see your opting for giant colas. Would I dare to suggest that you clone them, and increase the numbers somewhat? Well, that's the way I would do it.
That metal halide might come handy, to keep the stretch down and improve the plant structure. You're not going to increase the UV output though. Safety standards are strict nowadays, and most Metal Halides have a titanium alloy on the casing that filters almost all UV, so the output is insignifically higher than with an HPS.
And that whole thing that UV increases the THC production is far from sure, in fact very little indicates that it is so, but that is another discussion for another thread.
Happy Haze growing!
hi rosy, i will be taking cuts from these plants. in my excitement i have not explained myself properly. good info on the halide 'thanks'. also i will flower these plants along side a 10 week crop, after i have choped the first crop these can have the extra 10 or so weeks needed to finish them.
