For the past couple of decades I have only used MH/HPS for obvious reasons. I have always been intrigued with the LED technology but hesitant to switch. Having said that LEDs have come a long way and I have seen some very impressive grows not just online but in person from a couple of buddies of mine that use them. So I have done extensive research and I have narrowed it down to 3. Would someone with extensive LED knowledge please take a look at these 3 and tell me which one you think is the best.

Thank you!

Why have you narrowed it down to those 3 after researching? I wouldnt recommend the Next Light Core as the spectrum is bad imo (way too much blue not and not enough red) and at 190w actual draw and $595 price makes it the highest cost per watt of draw at $3.13 per watt of draw. I cant find a spectrum chart for the Electric Sky 300 light and dont really trust the PPFD chart they give either. Solar System 550 cost $799 and pulls 400w actual draw meaning $2 per watt of actual draw and has a good spectrum (most expensive though), probably good for around 1 - 1.25 pound yields from what ive found and intended to replace a 600w hps.

Hgl quantum boards should be included here

I agree, HLG 300 v2 3000k should be considered as well. 300w actual draw $599 price so same $2 per actual watt of draw as the solar system 550 and similar performance, hlg 300 probably slightly less performance than the solar system as it uses 100 less watts.

I can vouch for the SolarSystem 550. I bought one a few months ago and am very impressed with it so far. It's on the pricey side, but it gives you complete control over the red and blue portions of the spectrum (you'll need the controller which goes for about $180). You can program it to ramp the light intensity up and down to mimic sunrise/sunset.

I have mine installed on the outside of the top of my cab so most of the heat it produces goes into the room and not the cab. My temps are running about 2 degrees above ambient, something i've never seen when using (2) 250w HPS bulbs.
