2k on light mover?

I have this scenario, two troughs set up on each side of a room with a 1.5ft path down the center. two lights will be required to cover a 4x10x8 area each. the lights will be on a light mover of course. would a 1k on each side be more effective/and efficient than a 600 in the situation? Power is not an issue as well. I am running a 240v dedicated circuit for the lights so I can put the fans and whatnot on the existing circuit and not overload.

I have used a light mover for years and found that it will add space of about 1ft extra on each end .
so if i were setting this up i would set up an 8x8 area for grow space
and set plants out in a 8x6 area of that space to fill in @18 3 gal per 1000w :2cents:

what if I did 18 plants in each trough per light? would that be the same amount of light coverage basically?

ive got both, and both 3x600 and 2x1000 work about the same. with the 2 1k's you need to make sure that there not too close together, about 5-6ft apart, otherwise midde is phat and sides are short, with poor yield.

although im running 3.5x12 (4 3x3 trays, with overhang) its essentialy the same.

so i decided to do away with 1 trough on one side of the room and just make one long trough against 1 wall, makes more sense since my room is not square. My new plan involves 1 light mover with 2 lights on it spanning a 12ft length. Its the industrial strength mover to handle the weight of the 2 lights. They are spaced 5-6 ft. apart if I remember right, that would be sufficient based on what you said correct?
