Heyas, :)

Watch it going through Fairplay today on the 9... leos are patrolling it.

I live really close to this intersection and they alternate between patrolling Fairplay on the 9 and on both sides of the light on 285.

When I see them patrolling for the day... I'll post it.

:tiphat:

Those motherfuckers are always on 285 and especially around Bailey. The sheriff in Fairplay is a solid dickhead and will fuck you over in a minute...

Been offline a few days... sorry. Dunno about today, haven't gone through town yet.

Yeah... I'd bet the cops in fairplay actually pull over close to what the sheriff's do, and only a less-than-mile street. Checking the reports for the last few months, the sheriff's dept pulls over about 100 cars a month over a pretty large area.

When co64 went through they dropped the 6 months of cases on the books for cannabis. I haven't seen a dui-marijuana or paraphernalia case since it passed either. Dunno what that translates in to in real life, but that's what the sheets say. (found they're on-line for the sheriff's department. heh)

If you're coming in to fairplay headed north on 285, keep in mind that the 'reduced speed' the sign is talking about is "45mph". Snowplow keeps conveniently taking out that speed limit sign and people keep doing 55, waiting for the sign. Just past the bowling alley on the left, it's 45.

Don't forget to stop at Millonzi's restaurant in Fairplay... most delicious italian food I've had in my life... just wonderful. (Hang a left on the 9, left at the big, green valiton hotel on main... you'll be looking right at it. Small red-brick building down the street, ahead of you)

If I ever get back there, I'll check it out...I always wonder if the three brother I met in "So Park" still live there...the one that hit the RR bridge abutment in Denver...cool folks...or my friend in Ever Green good old Dave who was married to Sheila...who was the dessert guy at Tivoli Deer...lots of memories left there to come to this desolate dried up place...

It's pretty typical of high mountain, low-oxygen, small populations. lol

Saw their darker blue unmarked car parked halfway down the main drag in Fairplay... almost looks like a parked car, if you don't already know the unit.
