Seed are unknown hybrids and ill probably veg them only 10-14 days...and flower them under 250w in 3.5L pots, SOG style

need to get e40 (mogul socket) for my 250w, and DIY cooltube or reflector...depends on temps.

Ok now...sorry about 3 posts in a row, but you know how it is hehe...

I need an advice :)
my first plan was, because I use mystery seeds..to run 12/12 from seed..

probably ill dont need bigger pots than 2L (1/2 gal)?

because all my seeds are probably sativa dominant..dont know how much they will stretch

Will some additional PLL 55w 5000k for sidelightning and 250w HPS reduce stretching?

They look like indica hybrids. 12/12 will work, but the more veg time, the bigger the plants and the higher your yield. Since you only have a few seedlings, you might as well give them two to three weeks to gain some size.

Is odor going to be an issue? You really want a centrifugal fan for exhaust with an HPS...the 55W PLLs will be a good supplement for sure.

Well for odor ill plan to diy carbon filter or exaust directly on my attic..i live in house, but have my own floor, so...

bigger issue for me is sound..need to make some kind of silencer for that fan also..not too noisy but ill like it 30% more silent :)

yeah..i know about veg..but i dont have fem seeds, and i dont whant to veg them 1 month and than have boys..

think 12/12 from seed is better for that

I have one more fan same size, and temp. is not isue..and AC in front of tent afc ;)

As long as odor is not an issue you're good then. :) I use a dimmable 400W ballast. using it for a 250W MH now, and will switch to 400W in flower. I also use almost 100W of supplemental plant LEDs (1W and 3W diodes).

I don't know how to silence a bathroom fan, but maybe bungee cord would help?

12/12 from seed works fine.

What he said. More lumens! But...12/12 would work if you'd have 20 regular seedlings or maybe 12-16 feminized ones if we in a fact are talking about 50x90 floor space devoted just for flowering. Get more seeds or more cuts. Either way.

Going 12/12 you have to cut some clones from the ones you've got now and end up with almost nothing at the end and what's more important waste a lot of time doing this. Either veg em - take clones - cull the males (+ clones from males) or go 12/12 and end up with poor clones and poor results only to have another "can't wait" round with just as poor results. Proper veg = good results + a lot of good clones to play with. Then again if you have 20+ seedlings hiding somewhere go ahead.

250w now with 195m3/h specs but when possible maybe 300+ m3/h 125mm inline fan with a better than cheap carbon filter and a dimmable 400w (+ adjust a wing) or even 600 if you can handle a cooltube. Use only sound and light proof venting duct (silver fluffy tube) to reduce noise and throw them pc fans out of the room ASAP. 1-2 5w hortilux clipfans will do the job. So passive intake - proper, silent and odorless exhaust and clipfan(s) for mixing the air. I bet that after this you'll have less dBs and hell of a more lumens than now. Now if you're stingy or poor let me tell you: Proper lighting and ventilation is non negotiable. Spending on these now will save you money later.

Look guys...this is my hobby grow.

I dont need bigger lamp than 250w, and big yeilds because I also grow outdoor.
I am more than happy to grow 100-150 grams each 3 months.
My average yeild on outdoor is way more i can smoke myself..so...you got the point ;)
I have also 400w ballast and ignitor...dont have a bulb...maby ill put 400w in late flowering.

Got the message. Still IMHO better to do it properly once and skip the other round and still at least pay attention to proper equipment.

Hi there looks like it's coming along. The plants with the broad leaf and long stems of fan leaves looks like a yielder. Will you lst ya think? I saw cool journals with screens
