250w HPS scrog

Hi.

I will try to keep this simple and short.

I am planning to start my own grow for personal uses.

I was thinking about having only one sativa dominant plant using the scrog technique.

And my most important question is:

What shape and volume should my soil pot be?

I was thinking about vegging for about two months.

My growbox has a surface of 0.64 square meter and is 160 centimeters in hight.

I would want it finishing in a 5 gallon pot, but I would start with smaller pots and transplant as needed.

I wouldn't even consider getting the screen involved until at least say 5-6 weeks. I would want to see preflowers for sexing the plant first.

I would also start more than one plant and keep the best looking female to fill the screen. Really I'd probably want 3-4 females if it was me. For a first time scrog you wont fill the screen with one plant. A few will boost your yield.

Hey, thanks for replying kaka_!

I will be using a feminised seed. Also the whole point for me is to do it with only one plant, because if i ever get busted i wil get the minimal sentence.

I totally understand the getting busted aspect.. been there done that.

As a new grower you will do significantly better with a couple plants, I would urge you to grow 2 -4 if you are comfortable with that. Bottom line is you are committing a crime either way so you may as well get some yield out of it. 1 vs 4 plants isn't going to have much impact on a bust.
