I think the pictures came out ok, considering it's photoshop, and not autocad, but they may confuse you. Read further please, and just ask
ELEC=electrical stuff
WATER=auto watering
Blue arrows=air flow (very simply drawn, don't know much about it)
The material is 12 or 16mm wood
I'm just about to buy materials for building a closet for flowering with a 250W HPS light. (I'm preparing the plants in another closet.) I only want the fan for the 250W, and not much else, because I need to keep the noise down. I then later want to grow with LED, because of low heat and power savings. I know that it's hard to get the right LED lights, and I want to study further, while growing my 250W HPS. I definitely want LED, though! My thoughts are, to maximize the grow area for LED to 2 X H110W90D75cm., and make a smaller room, H?W60D75cm., below the rest, to start me up.
On the second image, the large fan is placed between rooms, and the heat from the 250W room is sent though LED room 1 and 2. This is because I've heard, that with LED lights, your plants may need extra heat. Anyway, it shouldn't harm them (?), and this way, my fan is more isolated and makes less noise. Just a suggestion, and with several alternative ways to arrange the airflow, I haven't drawn. I could place small fans inside to correct it. I would really appreciate any suggestions or comments on this idea.
Some questions:
Is the airflow possible (with changes) to maintain properly with smaller fans, or should I stop saying airflow so much, and stick with the first drawing?
Do I fx. need an extra fan, for intake, beside the 250W HPS, or any other places? ( I have no idea, if I should buy two or three smaller fans, instead of the one for the 250W HPS, for this to work??)
I've been thinking 2x180W or 4x90W LED in each of the 2 rooms. What's best for ca. H110xW90xD75cm.?
If you feel like it, you can use this drawing, and copy/paste fans, intakes and airflow in a way, you think is good. Just use Paint, or Photoshop, if you have it.
