240w LED, 2 Monster plants

So do you think one of those would compete with a 400w hps? Or rather - are they worth the money compared to other LEDs?

Currently I have a 150w hps, but it's generating way too much heat, and this might be an alternative for me since I was thinking about simply getting a bigger fan. I have a small one room apartment, so I have been kind of hesitant towards getting a bigger fan since it would most likely disturb me...Im hoping this might even up my yield a little

Edit: Do you think it would be enought with 2 120mm computer fans + 1 80mm fan to cool a area of 75cm x 40cm x 100cm - Width x Depth x Height. with one of those?

Yes, I dont think you would get any heat problem with your fans..

I think 1x120 Power LED is about the same as 300-350w HPS... Maybe 400w if you use your light opitmal...

About the price, I paid around 370$ for a 120w Power LED.
I think this is pretty cheap, if the light will be good for 50.000h.
And I also save alot of money on electic, fans, less heat = less water and food.

Its hard to say, but almost nothing..
You cant burn your plants or yourself anyway..
I think this is the biggest benefit compared to HPS lamps.

nice grow and a decent result ,surelly u could easy beat 1g/watt with 3 or 4 plants in that space like verdant greens mod scrog method

Im a bit confused about the wattage of those lights though.

I figured 119 LEDs at 3W would surely be pushing the boundaries of a 120W total. I went to the site you included but i cant read that lingo to check the specs.
My main concern with those lights would be heat mangement considering the amount of LEDs compared to a HGL unit. But the results are excellent so grow for gold!

The PowerLED-120 use 90x3w.. its total 270w but it only reach 120w...

The heat is almost nothing... the lamp have 3 fans...
U cant burn your plants under it... but u can light blend your plants if you have them to close...
