im a new grower and would like to have 100 plants flowering in 100 sq feet space with 2400 watts hps any tips on yield potency buckets or a self made grow box in soil

Going by 1 gram/watt, you'd be left with just under an oz per plant. In a SOG with 12/12 from clone, it might turn out pretty good. You might not need as many plants to get the same results though. Good luck. 2400 watts with White Russian sounds like alot of fun.

Well, assuming that you germ them separately and fill up the 100 pots/baskets with the germed seeds, you're still going to lose some plants due to males. Probably be better off finding a good mom and taking clones. While you're doing that and waiting for the mom to fill out, you can go ahead and flower out the other fems.

Hey bro,
I usually run 120-200 plants in a 3600w set-up. Planting them at either 16 or 25 m2. Which is a bit denser than your planning on, but I find planting like this maximises my yield.When I run some new seeds I alway veg them out for a bit (8-10 wks) and grow trees for a crop @4 plants m2. If you try a SOG from seed, don't expect a very big yield. Sorry if I've confused you, but if you click on the link in my sig, you should get a good idea on how I do things.

thanks im thinking of doing 200 plants in 6" pots and then moving the females into the 1' pots good idea?

200 plants is alot. It'll be alot of work to go through and sex 200 plants in a 100 sq ft area. Then again, 200 plants is a great selection for finding a badass mom. If you have the room, security, time, and patience, germ all 200, find a good mom, take clones, and cut down you flowering room to only 50 or so clones vegged for a week or 2. Maybe even lessclones and do a SCROG.
